00:09to have a very solid strategy in the field of sustainability,
00:13but above all, to have a broad perspective.
00:15At Aldi, we have a strategy with a holistic approach
00:20that looks at the different aspects that make up the business cycle.
00:25The challenge is to move from an approach to sustainability
00:30that is often identified as a cost,
00:33sometimes as a marketing opportunity,
00:35but to integrate it into the company's processes.
00:40To challenge contradictions means, therefore,
00:42to be aware of the role and responsibility
00:45that the large distribution has towards the client,
00:50but also towards the supply chain,
00:51and therefore to try to innovate within the purchasing processes
00:57but also the purchasing actions of our clients.
