00:03I'm Brian Tyree Henry, class of 2004 from Morehouse College.
00:06I am from Fayetteville, North Carolina, but I was in Washington, D.C. as well.
00:10My major started in business, but I quickly switched out of that and became
00:14a theater arts major at Spelman College.
00:16There were so many parts of theater that I didn't know about that our roots started there.
00:22Black theater, black text, black knowledge, black everything.
00:26There's just all different kinds of walks of life. We came from everywhere
00:30and we were all thrown together in this amazing higher education.
00:33I wouldn't trade it for the world.
