00:14at 2.50 I part and sell online, at 2.50, 2.50 auctions plus.

00:22I think today went exceptionally well.

00:24There's always a little bit of nervousness going into it, but I think everyone's seen

00:28the quality of the sheep, and I think we've had a pretty good day.

00:30Yeah, this area here has been dry.

00:32They've done well to get them to where they are.

00:34It's been a challenge, but they're all good breeders, and they're all good feeders,

00:37so they know what they're doing.

00:39It's not the first time it's been dry in the Mallee, so they've done an exceptional job

00:43to get them to where they are.

00:45And were you expecting it to be this strong coming in?

00:47Oh, in the back of your mind, I thought it would be, and it should be, but there's always,

00:52you always got a little bit of doubt in your mind, sort of leading out of last year, but

00:56I think there's a bit of confidence back in the job.

00:58Today's sale was really good, to be honest, given the season we're working through at the moment.

01:05We had a line-up of sheep here that come regularly, year-in, year-out,

01:10and our local vendors throughout the Riverland and Mallee have supplied,

01:15and the front row of sheep sold to excellent competition.

01:18Look, a broad range of buyers.

01:20We're really fortunate that the whole country's not in drought,

01:24like we are here in South Australia as a whole.

01:27There has been some good support come up today from the southeast,

01:31which we're really, really pleased about.

01:33It was something that not that long ago we were concerned about.

01:37And tremendous support also from our colleagues in interstate,

01:43both into Victoria and up into the New South Wales region.

01:48We always hope for our vendors that the amount of work they put into these sheep,

01:53particularly the regulars that come in year-in, year-out,

01:56and present their sheep for this blue-ribbon sale,

01:59we really think that it probably exceeded expectations at our touch.

02:06You know, there was a little bit of nervousness around, as there is every year,

02:10but we were hoping that some of these top-line sheep would make the money they make today.

02:15You know, the front row, they're all pretty well 200-plus.
