00:15Starting on Tuesday, October 15, the TAS-Signil in the NLEX Connector will be open from C3, Caloocan to Magsaysay Exit.

00:24It will increase from P33 to P116 depending on the vehicle class.

00:29According to the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, one year after the opening of Section 2 of the NLEX Connector from Espana Boulevard in Manila to Magsaysay,

00:38they just raised the toll after the TOL Regulatory Board or TRB approved it.

00:43So basically, we made Section 2 free for almost one year.

00:50We have many motorists who benefited from this free section of the NLEX Connector.

00:56We will also consider the FBDC of the NLEX so that the impact will not be too big on our users.

01:04But because of the rapid increase of the toll, the motorists we talked to will only pass through other roads.

01:11I think it's going to be too much if it will increase more than P100. It's too heavy.

01:17What we earn will only go to the increase of the toll fee.

01:22I might as well just take a two-hour drive so I don't have to spend as much.

01:26According to MPTC, before the end of the year, they are hoping to complete the entire NLEX Connector project and they will ask for a toll adjustment from the TRB.
