00:00first ensure you have the screenshot or video on the timeline next select the
00:04position where you want to highlight the text so in my case that's the position
00:09after that on the left side of the software click on text and select
00:13default text drag-and-drop onto your timeline and adjust the length according
00:19to your need on the right side change the color you can pick any color
00:24whatever you want in my case I'm going for yellow and in the text placeholder
00:29delete all and replace it with underscore two times now using the
00:36unskip control move the underscore to the first word or text you want to
00:41highlight so here it is again scroll down to uniform scale and turn off it
00:49adjust the width to match the size of the text and tweak the height to make
00:55the highlight stand out properly use the control to position it perfectly on top
00:59of the text so I'm going to we do it first
01:07adjust the opacity around 50% to check so you can see the text underneath more
01:13clearly once you are happy with the placement increase the opacity to 100%
01:17and with the text selected go to the animation choose white light or the
01:23highlight the animation is so fast make it 2 to 3 second as you like it's okay
01:34right now select the text layer right click and create a compound with the
01:41compound clip selected go to video change the blend mode to multiply so
01:47that's it let's preview what we have made so far and you can see it's really
