00:00Surah Al-Mulk, Chapter 67, Al-Rainu.

00:05In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

00:09Blessed is He in Whose Hand is Sovereignty, and He is Able to do all things.

00:17Who created death and life, that He may test you, which of you is best in deed?

00:25And He is the Exalted in Might, the Most Forgiving.

00:28Who created seven heavens, a layer of what you see in the creation of the Most Beneficent, of abundance.

00:39So turn your gaze back. Do you see any faults?

00:44Then turn your gaze back twice. The gaze will turn back to you, despised, and He is Forbearing.

00:55And indeed We have adorned the heavens of this world with lamps,

01:03and We have made them as a punishment for the Shayatin.

01:08And We have prepared for them the torment of the Blaze.

01:12And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the torment of Hell, and an evil destination.

01:21When they are thrown into it, they hear a roaring sound, and it is roaring.

01:29It is almost as if it were bursting with rage.

01:34Whenever a crowd is thrown into it, its keepers ask them,

01:44Has there not come to you a warner?

01:48They say, Yes, indeed, there has come to us a warner, but we have denied him.

01:55And we say, Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.

02:09And they say, If only we could hear or reason, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.

02:20But they have recognized their sin, so, to the companions of the Blaze, it is deserved.

02:28Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is forgiveness and a great reward.

02:39And conceal your speech or make it public. Indeed, He is Knowing of what is in the breasts.

02:50Does He who created not know? And He is the Subtle, the Aware.

02:56He it is Who has made the earth a shade for you, so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision, and to Him is the Resurrection.

03:13Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up, and then, behold, it will light up?

03:26Or do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not send against you a storm?

03:36Then you will know how is My warning.

03:41And indeed those before them have denied, so how is My reproaching?

03:49Do they not see the birds above them in rows, and that which holds them fast? Except for the Most Merciful. Indeed, He is, of all things, Seeing.

04:11Or who is it that is a helper for you, to help you instead of the Most Merciful?

04:22Verily, the disbelievers are but in delusion.

04:27Or who is it that will provide for you, if He withholds His provision? Nay, but they persist in transgression and rejection.

04:39Is he who walks with his head bowed down more guided, or he who walks upright on a straight path?

04:55Say, He it is Who has produced you and made for you hearing and sight and hearts. Little is it that you give thanks.

05:08Say, He it is Who has planted you in the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.

05:16And they say, When is this promise, if you should be truthful?

05:25Say, Knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.

05:34But when they see it near, the faces of those who disbelieve will be evil. And it will be said,

05:45This is what you used to invoke.

05:52Say, Have you considered, if Allah should destroy me and those with me, or have mercy on us,

06:00then who will protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?

06:09Say, He is the Most Merciful. We have believed in Him, and upon Him we have put our trust.

06:16So you will come to know who is in manifest error.

06:23Say, Have you considered, if your water becomes deep,

06:31then who will bring you flowing water?
