Rustica is a Manchester landmark, with friendly staff, cheap, excellent food and a queue at almost every time of day, you can absolutely guarantee a great sandwich.

00:04I'm heading to one of Manchester's most famed well-recognized and loved
00:08lunchtime institutions and that is Rustica right here in the northern
00:13quarter so I'm gonna head there I'll pick myself a sandwich I'll show you
00:16what the range is. I've been trying to make a decision and I have no clue is there a way?
00:19no no yeah of course absolutely why not yeah it knows awesome thank you very
00:27much so got the sandwich here I went for the award-winning Milano which is
00:33chicken bacon pesto garlic mayonnaise on a brown frisbee, granary frisbee I should
00:38say. It's easy to see already why it's loved I managed to get this and a
00:42carrot cake for £6.25 which is ridiculously cheap and the staff there
00:48are very very lovely you know super friendly super welcoming so I'll get
00:52back to the office we'll give it a try. I've made it back to the office now with
00:56my Milano sandwich from Rustica so let's have a look at what you get

01:11so sandwich gone they also have a couple of little cakes at the desk so I got
01:17myself a little £1.50 carrot cake it has been out for a while now so it's
01:22slightly warm it's so easy to see why it's a Manchester institution and why
01:31it's so loved and why it's so important to the city to particularly with the
01:35cost of living being able to buy all this for around six quid is startling
01:40and it's you know massive credit to the owners for keeping their prices low
01:44massive credit to the staff for being so lovely and welcoming and massive credit
01:48to Manchester for putting so much support into such a brilliant business
01:51so for now that's everything I'm gonna finish my carrot cake and I'm gonna let
