00:00But the bar is so low overall, the five weeks that we've seen this offense perform,
00:04that if they score two offensive touchdowns, it's going to look like a tsunami of points.
00:09You're going to be like, oh my God, what is this team?
00:11And like the Chiefs when the Holmes first got in there is how it's going to feel.
00:14Yeah.
00:14And also, again, I think you have to be prepared for mistakes and maybe a couple
00:19like head-scratching plays, but it can't be too many of them.
00:22It can't be throwing the ball across your body or trying to avoid a sack,
00:28rather than just taking a sack, trying to make a play and throwing it right to a linebacker.
00:33Like it's going to be, you can't have that stuff, even though it is your debut.
00:38But I think the bar is low enough where if he scores a couple of touchdowns,
00:40or he and the offense score a couple of touchdowns,
00:43you're going to look like, all right, that's a great place to start for this team.
00:46Yeah.
00:46We said yesterday, 17 points, a couple of offensive touchdowns, you're putting together
00:52some drives where you're not going three and out, you're looking functional.
00:55You don't want those head-scratching plays.
00:57I mean, I agree with that.
00:59Further along, I'd like to see some throws down the field.
01:03I mean, this offense just has no throws down the field.
01:05Yeah, that'd be good.
01:06You know, and I don't even mean 50-yard bombs.
01:08I'm talking that 15 to 20-yard range where you didn't really see that consistently with Brissette.
01:15You would see short throws.
01:17You would see easy throws.
01:18Maybe they'd mix in the deep shot to Polk against the Niners.
01:22But that's really more what I'm talking about.
01:23That deep to intermediate range that I don't feel like they're testing right now.
01:27I think that's an area of the playbook that you can open up.
01:31And yeah, there's a risk for some turnovers.
01:33He probably does turn it over this weekend.
01:35You don't want a 3-4 pick game.
01:37You're Will Levis.
01:38Yeah, no, right.
01:39You know, I heard the Greg Hill Show talking about this this morning.
01:42You're Zach Wilson in some of those starts.
01:44Like, you don't want that.
01:45The Nathan Peterman.
01:46Yeah, definitely not that.
01:48But from Peterman to Mahomes, there's a big gap there in the middle of how you can play.
01:52But I am willing to take that risk of like, let's launch it down the field a little bit.
01:55It doesn't have to be 50-plus yard throws.
01:57But that 15-20 yard range, they are not testing.
02:00And you need to do that in today's NFL.
02:03I also want to see him run.
02:05And I think that's an element of the playbook that should be opened up.
02:10I would hope that Alex Van Pelt leans on that a little bit this week.
02:13You asked me yesterday, do I expect to sign runs?
02:15I do.
02:16Yeah.
02:16You know, third and shorts, red zone.
02:18Like, I don't expect to just do it on first and ten.
02:21But if you need to go pick up some yards, I think he's a catalyst to be able to do that.
02:26Or at least give the defenses some different looks.
02:29So they're not loading up on Ramondre Stevenson.
