A mum chose to have two "beautiful" unmedicated births and says childbirth is "pain with purpose".

Casey Isabella, 22, knew she wanted to go through natural childbirth without drugs when she fell pregnant with her first daughter, Aila, two.

She didn't want to have an epidural as she felt it would "interfere with the biological process" and so she could feel an "amazing hormonal rush".

Casey loved it so much she had an unmedicated water birth with her second daughter, Aiana, now six months old, after a 12-hour labour.
