00:00When my husband is on a diet, he doesn't touch sugar at all.
00:03And my mom being my mom, she has to make kesar badam doodh for him every single time.
00:08And this is what she does.
00:09So mummy, first of all, we soak the dates in warm milk and blend it.
00:13Then she also soaks some saffron.
00:14Then she heats the milk and adds saffron milk, dates paste,
00:18and some roasted nuts.
00:20You can take almonds, cashews or pistachios.
00:22Add them in the milk along with some cardamom powder.
00:25Boil for 3-4 minutes and the badam milk is ready.
00:27And if you are also making it for someone very special,
00:30do not forget to add some extra roasted nuts.
