00:00How are you?
00:01I'm good.
00:02Oh, you said you were going to be here.
00:03I said I was going to be here for you. Obviously for you. You look incredible, by the way.
00:08Listen, I absolutely adore you. I'm not even going to try and hide it.
00:12And I've loved watching the evolution of your career. Saoirse Ronan is playing Mother.
00:16To go from the outrun to this.
00:18I know.
00:19Very different.
00:20I know. But the internet's losing its mind over the fact that you're playing Mother.
00:23I feel like you give Mother vibes as well.
00:26Yeah, I definitely have it in me, I think.
00:29What was it like playing a mother?
00:31I loved it. I mean, I think I decided pretty quickly that I wasn't going to go into it as an actor playing a mother.
00:39What was most important was for me, because I do feel quite maternal naturally anyway,
00:46but I think for me to have that relationship with Elliot, and that was so special and so strong from the very beginning,
00:53that's what we built on. So it felt as much like a mother-son relationship as it did a friendship between the two of us,
01:00and that's what I think you really get to see in the movie.
01:02And you're in your mother era, but you're also in your singing era.
01:06Saoirse, why have you kept this voice from us for so long?
01:09You know what? I've done it a couple of times in a couple of movies over the years, but no one ever really saw the films,
01:14so I've kind of dipped my toe in, but I would love to do more of that.
01:19I'd love to have six months to just train properly and get my voice to a great place and then do musicals.
01:25I'm here for the Saoirse Ronan album, and you've got your first purchase.
01:28Okay, good.
01:29We need to do a live now, but it's so nice to see you again.
01:31Nice to see you.
01:32Lots of love. See you later.
