00:00always gauge the response by what the enemy's doing.
00:03So, this Mar-a-Lago story has gotten even crazier.
00:06The nutbags on the left, of course, love the idea
00:10that for some bizarre reason,
00:11the FBI decided to use the standard or whatever
00:14and bring weapons into Mar-a-Lago, totally unnecessarily.
00:17No one still has answered the question on the left.
00:20If that's the case and we want to serve a search warrant
00:22at the White House,
00:23why would we not be allowed to carry guns in here?
00:25The answer is, you wouldn't be
00:27because it's a secure facility
00:28and the Secret Service would say it's unnecessary.
00:30Kind of sounds like the Mar-a-Lago thing, right?
00:34Here's Merrick Garland, our Attorney General in name only.
00:37Desperate to spin this story.
00:39I want you to notice here,
00:40listen to what he says about the guns,
00:43the use of force authorization,
00:45which standard for whatever they call standard procedure.
00:48They know they messed up.
00:50They know they messed up.
00:51And I want you to watch Garland, who never gets emotional,
00:54try to spin this thing
00:55as the inclusion of the standard use of force thing
00:59is the limits on the use of force.
01:03What?
01:04But how does that even make sense?
01:07Here, watch this.
01:09I got a, most of us got a solicitation email this morning
01:13from the former President of the United States
01:14saying that the Justice Department had authorization
01:16to kill him during the Mar-a-Lago raid.
01:21First, can you give us some clarification
01:23on that particular point that he's making
01:26and whether or not deadly force is authorized
01:29in other interventions,
01:30including the search of Mr. Biden's residence and office?
01:36And the second question is, I wonder if you could-
01:37Can I do one at a time?
01:39Okay.
01:40On that one, that allegation is false
01:42and it is extremely dangerous.
01:45The document that is being referred to in the allegation
01:49is a Justice Department standard policy
01:53limiting the use of force.
01:56As the FBI advises,
01:57it is part of the standard operations plan for searches.
02:02And in fact, it was even used in the consensual search
02:06of President Biden's home.
02:09So just to be clear,
02:11why would you need to include a document
02:14limiting the use of force at the Mar-a-Lago raid
02:20if there wasn't use of force authorized at the-
02:23I'm not telling you they went in there
02:25to kill Donald Trump.
02:26It was not an assassination plot.
02:27That's not what happened.
02:29I'm making a simple point that Garland still can't answer.
02:33Why did you even have to introduce this paperwork
02:37about limiting the use of force
02:39if use of force was even an issue?
02:43It shouldn't have been an issue.
02:45And then he brings up
02:45the consensual search of Biden's room.
02:48Okay, so Biden, who you insist was cooperating,
02:52gets the benefit of a consensual search
02:54where yeah, of course use of force isn't gonna be an issue
02:57because everybody's buddy-buddy
02:59and they can work it out in advance.
03:00Trump doesn't get any of that
03:01even though he was cooperating with the FBI.
03:04They do an unexpected raid,
03:05creating, albeit small,
03:08the chance of some use of force thing
03:10that had to be lined out in the document
03:13about what happens if the Secret Service engages with them.
03:16In other words, they have to interact.
03:19Folks, this is insanity.
03:21How can you defend this?
03:22This is totally freaking bananas.
03:25There was no need for the paperwork
03:27because it should have never happened.
03:30I don't even know how else to describe.
03:32Is this hard for people to get?
03:35It's like the FBI tomorrow raids Tim Scott's house
03:39because they find out he could be a vice presidential pick
03:42on a false charge.
03:44And they got them down on the floor at gunpoint
03:47and people are questioning the paperwork?
03:49That's not what this is about.
03:51Why was it even necessary to go in there
03:54with a use of force disclaimer at all?
03:58How hard is this?
04:00How hard is this?
04:03And the great Julie Kelly put up a tweet this weekend.
04:06Again, to the former feds
04:08and people defending this lethal force,
04:10whatever, standard operating procedure.
04:12The FBI, it says, she notes,
04:14lied about why they needed to be armed.
04:16A dumbbell and a meat cleaver?
04:18So apparently there was like a workout room
04:20and some kitchen equipment.
04:22And I guess they thought this was some
04:23life-threatening situation for the FBI.
04:26Come on, man.
04:27You engage in an unprecedented raid
04:29never done in American history.
04:30Was no need to be armed at all.
04:32This could have been done entirely consensually,
04:34just like you did it for your homie Biden.
04:36And your excuses, there's a kitchen on the premises,
04:39there's a kitchen at the White House too.
04:41What if the FBI wanted to serve a search warrant there?
04:43They can never answer these questions
04:46because they would expose themselves for who they are.
04:49That was a clip from the Dan Bongino Show.
