00:00Well, there's been a report published today which shows the depth of poverty across the country and
00:06you know child poverty across the country
00:09an amazing
00:11Stat is three-quarters of those children in poverty that their parents are working and working families
00:15So this whole issue about you know people doing the right thing working, but not being able to make ends meet
00:20So what I'm hoping the Chancellor announces in her budget on October the 30th is
00:25Planned to get us through 2526 really important
00:27But more importantly gives us some hope for the spending review next spring because that's been reviews the next three years worth of
00:33Plans we can't have more austerity. We've had 14 years worth of austerity
00:37I'm confident that once we got through 2526, it'll be a tough budget for obvious reasons 20 million pound black hole
00:43There'll be some optimism next spring with a three-year spending review that gives everyone certainty about going forward
00:48I'll be going to the investment summit October the 14th encouraging businesses to invest
00:53In London and the UK because that investment will lead to growth that will support families going forward
