00:00I think that, thinking critically to what we have said, the pediatrician is the real
00:10interlocutor.
00:11The pediatrician is the interlocutor because he is the person who takes care of the child
00:16from the first days of life, and when a child is born, something new is born, the parents
00:21are inexperienced, it is something that enters the house, changes their life, changes their
00:27everyday life, and they interface with the pediatrician, who becomes an integral part of the family.
00:37So I believe that the development project, also of projectuality, which sees nutrition
00:43as therapy, I reiterate this concept, nutrition is therapy that makes the child grow well
00:50and makes him grow not only from a point of view of weight and height, but as we have
00:55seen, it also has an extraordinary strategic influence, also in neuropsychic development.
01:00And so it is the pediatrician who must take charge, facing the family during the evolutionary
01:07age.
01:08Pediatrics, in this sense, is very sensitive to this aspect.
01:12We have the opportunity to have a branched and capitalized pediatrics on the national
01:19territory.
01:20We have large hospitals, we have university structures where culture takes place, we have
01:26the nursery of specialization schools with over 4,000 young pediatricians who will become
01:32pediatricians over the next few years, and our commitment as pediatricians is to take
01:38on this responsibility as a child's lawyer.
