Drop in vegetables consumption driving farmers out of business, harming health

A recent survey of fruit and vegetable growers found a third of them are considering leaving the industry, as falling consumption and low prices combine to make farming unviable. Statistics show more than 90% of the population is not eating enough vegetables, prompting a plea for consumers to eat healthier for their own sake and to help farmers.
