00:00In Quezon City, a man robbed a motorcycle in Barangay San Agustin. The motorcycle was even chopped.

00:07First news, James Agustin.

00:13The CCTV footage shows a man riding a motorcycle that was taken out of the subdivision in Barangay San Agustin, Quezon City.

00:20The man was not wearing a helmet.

00:23He knew that he was riding a motorcycle, but he did not own it.

00:27He stole it in the area, according to the police.

00:30The victim was locked in a basketball court.

00:36When he came back, the motorcycle was gone.

00:40After that, the victim immediately reported to the barangay and to the police station.

00:48In the manhunt operations of the District Anti-Carnapping Unit,

00:51a motorcycle was found stolen in the same barangay.

00:54Two people were arrested.

00:56The 36-year-old man was seen in the CCTV footage that was taken from the motorcycle,

01:01and the 30-year-old man was arrested.

01:04Some parts of the motorcycle were recovered, except for its chassis.

01:09The motorcycle that was stolen was cannibalized.

01:15The parts were chopped.

01:17The victim identified the motorcycle that was stolen through the engine number.

01:25A complaint was filed against the New Anti-Carnapping Act.

01:28Two people were arrested.

01:30Yesterday, the man was released after stealing a motorcycle after having a pianza.

01:35Another suspect remained in jail.

01:40The authorities advised the man not to be a victim of this kind of modus.

01:45If the motorcycle was stolen,

01:48they should not forget the chassis of the motorcycle.

01:52Secondly, if the motorcycle was stolen,

01:55it should not be in a dark place where there are no people.

02:04make sure that the crank is locked.
