00:08The number of candidates for the Senate since 2019 is higher based on the data of Comelec.

00:14153 were cast for the 2019 election and 176 for the 2022 election.

00:22For the 2025 election, 184 are the total number of senatorial aspirants.

01:18But on WPP, they approved Quibuloy's run under their party.

01:24According to the group's president, Atty. Sani Matula,

01:27none of the three authorized signatures in their group passed the CONA

01:33or Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance of Quibuloy.

01:36The CONA is one of the requirements issued to Comelec along with the Certificate of Candidacy.

01:43Quibuloy's camp said that WPP approved his run under the COC.

01:52Comelec said that there's a time for the commission to resolve this issue.

01:58The candidacy also approved for Kiko Pangilinan to return to the Senate

02:03who was accompanied by his wife Sharon Coneta.

02:06He will run under the Liberal Party.

02:08Atty. Vic Rodriguez will also run as a senator.
