00:00The PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group's operation was disastrous.

00:05A man was the suspect in the million-peso cryptocurrency scam.

00:10This is what Patrick Dejesus reported.

00:14The PNP-CIDG-NCR found a 23-year-old man who was the suspect in the cryptocurrency scam.

00:23You are under arrest. You will be jailed.

00:28The suspect was found in a house in Noveleta, Cavite and was arrested on a warrant of arrest

00:34in the Estafa case from the courts in Makati and Paranaque.

00:39The suspect, who is an expert in cryptocurrency, was charged under Crypto King.

00:44He was charged with 500 million to 600 million pesos

00:48for his scam from victims who are media, police and businessmen.

00:55He promised that the money he invested will grow by 4 to 5 percent every month.

01:02He used the money he borrowed from the casino for 4.5 percent.

01:12Then he will not return the money he got.

01:17Based on our information, he used to do this.

01:21He has a plan on who he will victimize.

01:29The suspect was arrested on September 20, 2023 for the same claim.

01:34But he was released after being able to pay off his debts and the modus operandi was continued.

01:39The cases against the suspect are again available for more than P100,000.

01:44That is why the CIDG called on other victims who approached them

01:50to file a case against the large-scale Estafa where there is no justice.

01:55As of now, there are people who are texting us where they can go to complain.
