00:00My game bum.
00:02Whoever the hell determined that Josh Allen was healthy.
00:13Now, I'm shocked that there haven't been
00:18an investigation already because I saw Josh Allen.
00:25We all saw Josh Allen.
00:27He went night-night.
00:30It's not even, go look at the play
00:33and tell me what you think.
00:37Because he was out.
00:38I'm watching the play now.
00:40He hits the ground and his wrist folds and stays there.
00:46You're not bracing for impact.
00:47You're not attempting to get up.
00:49You're not doing anything at that point.
00:51How in the hell did no one sideline?
00:55Remember when Teddy Bridgewater kind of stumbled
00:58and someone from section 303 was like,
01:02concussion protocol, Teddy.
01:03Concussion, he's got one, he's got one, spotter.
01:06Right, how can nobody?
01:09They may, I mean, maybe they'll come back to that.
01:11Cause I mean, like, it definitely on social media
01:13was going more so a thing, but I don't know how.
01:16Like, look, people can miss things.
01:18I would thought that people can miss things.
01:21National television.
01:23I understand, I understand.
01:24That's what they said about Tua.
01:26If it wouldn't happen on national television.
01:28Tua's first one against the Bills.
01:29That was the whole thing is nobody,
01:30nobody blinked at it as it happened the first time around.
01:35Okay, dude.
01:36Hey, I'm telling you.
01:39Hey, I'm telling you.
01:41One of his best games.
01:42Hey, I'm telling you, we all saw it.
01:48We all know what it looks like, right?
01:52Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.
01:54Storm duck.
01:56He's cool.
01:57Thanks buddy.
01:58I knew I could count on you.
01:59You're welcome.
02:01Everyone remember.
02:02I'm sorry.
02:03I'll take my minus one.
02:04That was good.
02:07Minus one.
02:09I got to tell you,
02:09who's the quarterback for the Dolphins?
02:15The young one.
02:18The quarterback?
02:19The quarterback.
02:19No, not the quarterback.
02:21Who played yesterday?
02:23Ethan Meyer didn't play yesterday.
02:24Oh, okay.
02:25No, no, no.
02:27Damn.
02:29I was like, man, he's balling.
02:31We had questions about him.
02:33Young.
02:34I don't know.
02:35Javon Hall, by the way, broke his hand.
02:36Oh, that hurt my heart.
02:37We can never just have one good thing, you know?
02:40Right.
02:42Not Ezekiel Hama.
02:43No.
02:44He's a receiver.
02:44Receiver.
02:46Odell, by the way.
02:47Not a very flashy debut.
02:49What did he even play?
02:5010 snaps.
02:51Keita Kohu?
02:52Is that your favorite?
02:53Keita Kohu.
02:54Keita Kohu's been playing well.
02:56Yeah.
02:57Like, yeah.
03:00This is Chris Nowinski, of course.
03:01He of WWE fame and then a concussion expert.
03:07It's insane that Josh Allen was put back in after this hit.
03:10Even if he says he's fine, why bet the franchise QB
03:14that the concussion symptoms aren't delayed?
03:16Protocol aside, how are we taking risks like this
03:20just a few weeks after another two-a-concussion?
03:23In fact, all concussion protocols aren't perfect.
03:25If I saw a player's head bounce 18 inches off the turf
03:29and his left wrist fold like Allen's did here,
03:31I'd call it no protective action
03:33when falling a concussion sign.
03:35I'd at least sit him for a game or sit him for the game.
03:38Why are we not cautious?
03:41Because again, I was making the deal beforehand
03:46about we pick and choose these things.
03:50If there's a set of rules, there's a set of rules.
03:53And everybody's like, oh, we should,
03:56Josh Allen, concussion, he knows it, retire.
03:59Right, like, no, man.
04:04Can't nobody tell me that wasn't a concussion.
04:06You're not, like, from living through them
04:08and seeing enough of them, that was a concussion, okay?
04:12So now, with all the, everybody up in arms
04:17about everything else and the two of it,
04:19every time we see a concussion
04:21where everybody wanna call it out, now what?
04:24You see what I mean?
04:25That's the thing that's, I'm curious to see
04:28how this plays out versus all of the other way.
04:32Everybody's, oh, he should retire,
04:33he should do this, he should do that.
04:35Like, yeah.
04:36Nah, I don't see why not.
04:36Okay, man, it's, dude.
04:38And I'm gonna say this and I'm gonna say this again.
04:42It's football.
04:43Sometimes you hit your head on the ground.
04:46Now, y'all could do something about that cushion
04:50underneath that field, but you don't, right?
04:54You got him playing in New York
04:56where everybody tearing up everything.
04:58Yep.
04:59But you don't, right?
05:01So don't, don't, like, if this is all about optics,
05:05okay, and I get it, everybody says about optics,
05:08that's a bad look.
05:10That's a bad look for a dude to be on the ground like this
05:13and then 12 minutes later, he back on the field.
05:16Yeah, there's smell and salt in them.
05:17Right.
05:19So I'm with you, man.
05:20I'm not disagreeing, but I kind of like,
05:21it's one of these things where I know the Dolphin fan
05:24gets annoyed about this because Tua's concussions
05:26are treated differently.
05:27It's the thing, I don't know.
05:29I've long been trying to search for the answer
05:33and mystery of why everything with Tua
05:37gets such a crazy reaction as opposed to other quarterbacks.
05:42I don't understand it.
05:44I don't know why.
05:47And that's why I've always said,
05:50if he's healthy, he's healthy.
05:51That's the rule.
05:52If you're healthy, you're healthy, right?
05:54And that is determined by the medical staff,
05:57all the neurologists, everybody who you have to see,
06:00not by what it looks like.
06:03We can't, we get caught up too much in how it looks
06:06and not what it is.
