01:03This is something that for all Cubans is something so big, so big, that we have never seen this opportunity so close.
01:15For us, it is a dream come true. Sometimes I wake up and say, my God, I think I'm going to go to sleep and the next day I'm going to wake up and everything is going to be a dream.

01:33So Kika, I am extremely happy, extremely excited to have the responsibility of representing my country on such an important stage as Los Mis Universos and to teach the world a little bit about who we Cubans are.

03:26And it opened the doors for me to get to this country and achieve so many dreams.
03:31It was very difficult for me with my mother because we did not have a family in the United States.
03:36And we had to work a lot at the age of 13.
03:40I helped my mom clean the floors of a bank.
03:45Then I had another job at 16 while I was going to high school,
03:53which also cleaned the bathrooms. It was a pharmacy that also cleaned the bathrooms.
03:57And well, then I started in the modeling world.
04:00And then I finally managed to create my own skincare line called Arma Face,
04:06which I am very proud of.
04:08And we have to try it.

05:26But well, God gave me this beautiful opportunity.

05:37I know that all queens have their motto, they have their cause.

05:43Well, I have a cause that is about mental health.
05:47I had, it has touched me very closely, the issue of suicide in my family.
05:54And so I want to show the world the magic and the importance of empathy.

06:09Help the world understand that there are many faces who suffer in silence.
06:14Of people we don't know, who have suicidal thoughts.
06:19I want to show the world, I want to teach the world.
