Stockport mural wins international award

Based at Merseyway shopping centre, it is the largest recycled bottle cap mural in the UK - having used more than 80,000 in total.

00:00This Stockport Art Mural is the proud winner of an International Green Apple Award.
00:07Located in Mersey Way Centre, the piece used 8,000 bottle caps and was designed by local artist Caitlin Atherton.
00:18The mural is the largest of its kind in the UK and is now recognised with one of the most esteemed environmental awards.
00:27The artist will be awarded on November 18th at Kensington Palace.
