पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी मुंबई में अभिजात मराठी भाषा कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पीएम मोदी ने कहा, "...नई राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के तहत, अब मराठी में भी मेडिकल और इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई संभव है। इतना ही नहीं, मैंने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीशों के सामने भी अनुरोध किया। मैंने कहा कि जब कोई गरीब व्यक्ति आपकी अदालत में आता है और आप उसे अंग्रेजी में फैसला देते हैं, तो वह क्या समझेगा? मुझे खुशी है कि आज जो हमारे निर्णयों का मुख्य भाग मातृभाषा में दिया जाता है...।"
