00:19The white and dusty sand in the bay of Pagasa Island is being swept away by the garbage being brought to the port.

00:27Most of the plastic, like the bottles and sacks, according to the local government, has Chinese characters on the packaging or label.

00:33Mostly, it's really from the garbage of China.

00:37It's not surprising because we can see that they have vessels there.

00:45So maybe they threw the garbage here in our coastal area of the island.

00:57The presence of Chinese ships in the surrounding of Pagasa Island, which is part of the Philippines, is not missing.

01:06But it is being carried by China.

01:08In the distance, you can see the ships of the China Navy, as well as the China Coast Guard and Chinese militia vessels.

01:14Residents are saddened by the increasing number of problems they are facing.

01:18We are very saddened by the cleaning of our coastal area.

01:27We can't do anything about it.

01:29All we can do is to organize programs to address the problems.

01:38That's why the residents are continuously cleaning up the area and the local government is asking the residents of Pagasa to do the same.

01:43In the two coastal cleanups this September, they were able to collect 36 sacks of garbage.
