The Magical Pot
Transcript
00:00The name of this story is The Magic Pod.
00:10Once upon a time, there lived a farmer in a village.
00:16He used to go to his farm every day and do his farming activities.
00:22One day, he was digging the farm to prepare it for sowing the seeds for coming monsoon.
00:32All of a sudden, he found a big pot in the farm.
00:38He took the pot out and he wondered what that pot will be useful for.
00:46So he just kept that pot aside and started his usual activities again.
00:57During the lunch time, he just kept his spade in that pot while he was eating.
01:09When the farmer finished his lunch, he saw to his surprise that his spade was multiplied
01:18to hundred spades in that pot.
01:23He was really really surprised.
01:27He thought to himself, Oh, I did not bring hundred spades.
01:35I just brought only one spade.
01:38How come the one spade became hundred spades?
01:42I don't understand.
01:46Then he thought this must be something to do with the pot.
01:52So he took away those hundred spades and took up a stone from nearby and put that stone
02:01in that pot.
02:04And then when he looked inside the pot, instead of a stone that he put in, there were hundred
02:12stones lying there.
02:16That is when he realized that the pot was magical.
02:22So he brought the pot back home and kept it in secret.
02:29From that day on, he used the pot to satisfy his needs.
02:36So whenever he wanted a cloth, he will put a piece of cloth and he will get cloth enough
02:45for him to make his clothes.
02:48Whenever he was hungry, he would put a fruit in that pot and he would get hundred fruits
02:55back from the pot.
02:57That way, gradually he started becoming rich.
03:03But that farmer was a honest farmer.
03:07He never used the magic of the pot for satisfying his greed.
03:14He was not a greedy farmer.
03:18However, his neighbor noticed that this farmer is getting richer and richer every day.
03:27So he tried to find out the secret of his richness.
03:33So one day, neighbor stood outside his window, peeping into the house of this farmer to find
03:42out what this farmer is doing.
03:46That time, farmer kept a little spoon of milk inside the pot.
03:54Then he took out a litre of milk from the pot.
03:59Hmm, now I understand, said the neighbor.
04:05He said that magical pot is giving him all the richness.
04:13So this wicked neighbor, envious neighbor decided to steal this pot from this farmer.
04:25That night itself, he stole that pot from the farmer's house and took it back home to
04:33his own house.
04:36He was very eager to find out the magic of the pot.
04:42But before that, he just wanted to find out if there is anything inside the pot.
04:49So he put his hand in the pot, but obviously there was nothing in the pot.
04:58But to his surprise, when he took out his hand, he realized that now he has hundred
05:06hands to his bodies.
05:10And now he was really scared, because he did not know how to bring those hundred things
05:18back to one again.
05:21So next day, as he came out of the house, the people were really scared, and they thought
05:30he is some kind of demon with hundred hands on one side and one hand on other.
05:38So the other villagers started stoning him, and they drove him away.
05:45When this farmer saw all this happening, he realized that the neighbor must have stolen
05:53the pot from him and must have put in his hands into it.
06:00So the moral of the story is, do not be envious of anyone and never ever steal anything from
06:12anyone.
06:22The name of the story is Effect of True Care.
06:29Once upon a time, there was a village.
06:34In that village, there lived a farmer called Mahadu.
06:40Mahadu had a cow which gave him lots of milk.
06:46He sold that milk and he became quite rich.
06:52Unfortunately, once that cow fell ill, and she stopped giving milk to Mahadu.
07:03Mahadu thought that the cow will never recover from her illness, and he left her in the dense
07:13forest.
07:14Cow, because of her nature, returned back to Mahadu's place.
07:22But then Mahadu drove her away by giving her severe beating.
07:30The cow was sad.
07:32She was wandering around in the village.
07:37By then, Chandu, another farmer in that village saw this cow.
07:47When he saw that cow, he realized that she was bitten and driven away by somebody.
07:56Chandu brought that cow to his home and gave her food and the medicines for her wounds.
08:06Gradually, that cow started recovering.
08:12Chandu took good care of that cow, and so she became healthy again.
08:20After a few days, that cow gave birth to a beautiful calf.
08:26And as she gave birth to that calf, she started giving milk again.
08:34Chandu, after keeping enough milk for the calf, started selling the remaining milk in
08:41the market.
08:44That way, he started getting some money as well.
08:49As the days passed, he kept on selling milk in the market, and he also became rich.
08:59Soon, Mahadu realized that Chandu was making money from the cow that he drove away.
09:08So he came back to Chandu and said,
09:11Oh Chandu, you know, this is my cow.
09:18It was with me for a while.
09:20So give that back to me.
09:24On that, Chandu said,
09:27Oh Mahadu, I know that you drove this cow away after beating her severely.
09:34I was the one who brought her back, gave her food, gave her love, gave her care, and now
09:39she is healthy.
09:41You want my cow back?
09:42No, I am not going to give it to you.
09:46Mahadu took this case to the gram panchayat of that village.
09:54The judges of the panchayat called in for both Mahadu and Chandu.
10:02And also they told Chandu to bring the cow along.
10:07As Mahadu and Chandu stood in front of the panchayat, the judges told that it is very
10:16difficult to decide on this case because technically both were the owners of the cow.
10:26So they decided on a trick.
10:28They said, let the animal, let that cow decide whom she wants to be with.
10:36So they made Chandu and Mahadu stand a little far from each other and they released the
10:43cow from the rope.
10:46As the cow was released, she started going to Chandu and as she reached out to Chandu,
10:54she started licking his hand and his feet.
10:58It appeared to all the villagers and the judges that she was very fond of Chandu.
11:06It was quite obvious then that the cow has to stay with Chandu because Chandu was the
11:13one who cared for her.
11:16So the moral of the story is, if you give care and love to others, it will always come
11:24back to you.
11:36The name of the story is Fisherman's Flute.
11:43Once upon a time, there was a fisherman.
11:49He was very good in playing the bamboo flute.
11:56He would sit beside the bank of the pond and play his flute very sweetly.
12:06When he played his flute, even the animals gathered around him to hear the sweet notes
12:15coming out of his flute.
12:21One day, fisherman thought to himself, if I can make the animals come around due to
12:30my sweet flute playing, why don't I try the same magic on the fish.
12:39So he decided that he would catch the fish with his sweet flute.
12:47So one day, he sat near the pond again and played his sweet flute for the fish.
12:59He played for a long time.
13:03He played very sweetly, but all of his efforts were in vain because no fish came even near
13:18to the fisherman.
13:20At last, he got bored and then he thought to himself, let me try my old way.
13:31So he threw the net in the pond and in few minutes he could gather a good amount of fish
13:44in his net.
13:51That is when the fisherman realized that he has to use right tools for right work.
14:02He used music to gather the fish which really did not work.
14:11But the minute he used the net, the heap of fish was his.
14:18So the moral of the story, use right tools for right work.
14:35The name of the story is Two Frogs in the Buttermilk.
14:43Once upon a time, there was a village.
14:48In the village, there was a milkman's house.
14:54That milkman would culture his milk every day into the curd, then into the buttermilk
15:03and from the buttermilk, he would take away butter every day.
15:09One day, he left the buttermilk in a pot and left for some work.
15:17There were two frogs in the near about garden who were just moving around in the garden
15:26and from the window, they came into the house.
15:31Those two frogs saw this buttermilk pot and thought that it would be food in it.
15:39So they jumped in the pot.
15:45In the pot, they found themselves swimming in the buttermilk.
15:51Both of them were struggling very hard to come out of this buttermilk pot.
15:58But it was in vain.
16:02One of the frogs lost all its hopes, said to himself,
16:11Oh, I am so tired of swimming endlessly in this buttermilk.
16:17I don't think I am ever going to get out of this.
16:22I think I am just going to die here.
16:26Why would I even try if I am going to die?
16:31So he stopped swimming and trying to come out of the pot.
16:38That frog drowned in the buttermilk.
16:43But the other frog refused to give up.
16:48He kept on moving, he kept on swimming, he kept on moving around and struggling.
16:55Because of all this activity of this frog, the buttermilk started getting churned and
17:05it led to the creation of butter in that buttermilk.
17:12That butter, it started floating on the buttermilk.
17:17That is what this another frog saw and he jumped on that butter and out of the pot.
17:28That way, because of his struggle and continuous effort, he was able to save his life.
17:38Moral of the story, never give up your effort and fight up to the last minute and you will
17:49always succeed and achieve your goal.
17:58The name of the story is Greedy Dog.
18:09Once upon a time, there was a stray dog who was roaming about in search of food.
18:18He moved around a lot but he did not find anything to eat.
18:24Rambling about, he came to a butcher's shop.
18:29There, to his surprise, he saw a bone which was just laying outside the shop.
18:37Dog was very happy and he thought to himself, now I have something to eat.
18:44Oh, such a nice bone.
18:46Oh, I am going to have good time now.
18:52So he took that bone and there was a little meat on it.
18:58So he took up the bone and ran away.
19:02He wanted to find a safe place to enjoy that bone and the little meat that was on that
19:08bone.
19:09He found a place under the tree.
19:12He started chewing the bone.
19:19He finished up all the meat that was there on the bone and what all left was just the
19:25bare bone in the dog's mouth.
19:30Soon he became little thirsty.
19:33But at the same time, he did not want to let go the bone from his mouth.
19:38With the bone in the mouth, dog came to that stream and he actually climbed up on a bridge
19:46over it.
19:48The dog decided to just lean down and drink some water and while doing so, he saw his
19:56reflection in the water.
20:00He saw that there was another dog in the stream.
20:05And he saw that there was another bone in that dog's mouth.
20:11This dog got greedy and thought to himself, I want that bone, I want that bone, I want
20:17that bone.
20:19As soon as he opened the mouth to bark and to grab that bone in the stream, the bone
20:26which was there in his mouth fell down in the stream.
20:33Immediately as the bone fell down, the reflection in the stream got washed away.
20:42And that is when this dog realized he lost the bone he had in his mouth too.
20:50By realizing that, dog felt very sad.
20:55But it was in vain because he had already lost the bone.
21:01So the moral of the story is, don't be greedy for the things you don't have and take care
21:11of the things which you already have.
21:22The name of the story is Clever Bat.
21:25Once upon a time, there lived a bat.
21:30It would hang up from the tree upside down all day long and move around in the night
21:36to find its prey.
21:40One day, the bat fell down from the tree and it was caught by a weasel.
21:53The weasel was just going to kill it.
21:56When the bat begged to the weasel, Spare me, spare me weasel, spare me weasel, don't kill me please.
22:11Why, why after all I will leave you and not kill you, you are my prey.
22:18I never leave the small animals that I eat them.
22:24The bat was very clever.
22:26With its presence of mind, it said to the weasel, You see weasel, I am not animal, I
22:36have wings.
22:37I am a bird, I am a bird and you don't eat birds.
22:41Weasel thought to himself.
22:44That is true, I don't eat birds.
22:47Okay, I am going to let you go.
22:50And that way the weasel let the bat go.
22:56A few days later, bat fell down again on the ground and this time it was caught by the dog.
23:08And now dog was going to kill it.
23:13Again the clever bat begged the dog.
23:17Oh dog, leave me, leave me please, oh dog, please leave me.
23:23Why would I leave you, I like, I like to kill the birds, I like to kill the flying birds.
23:31The bat very clever used its presence of mind and begged to the dog.
23:40You see dog, I am no bird, I am no bird, I am animal, I am animal.
23:46How come you are an animal?
23:49Oh, oh, see because I don't lay eggs, I don't lay eggs.
23:55Hmm, that is true.
23:58So you are not a bird.
24:00Okay, I will let you go.
24:02So the dog let bat go.
24:07That way very cleverly bat got free from both the weasel and the dog
24:15because of the presence of mind that it used at the time of emergency.
24:23So the moral of the story is never lose your calm
24:28and use your presence of mind in the face of difficulty.
24:41The name of the story is Sick Lion and Clever Fox.
24:47Once upon a time there was a forest.
24:55There was a lion living in the forest.
25:00When he was young he would kill his prey whenever he was hungry.
25:08But after few years that lion had grown old and he could no longer kill his own prey.
25:19So he started starving.
25:22So he thought to himself one day.
25:25One day.
25:27Oh, I have grown so old that I cannot kill my own prey.
25:42What I can do now?
25:46What should I do for me to get my food?
25:53Then all of a sudden he thought of an idea.
25:59He thought of resorting to cunning and lie.
26:05So he would pretend to be ill and sit in front of his cave
26:14and tell every animal that he is sick
26:19and they should come and visit him and enquire about his health.
26:26The lion put a wicked plan into practice
26:30and animals actually started visiting the lion.
26:35He would welcome all of them and would thank them for coming initially.
26:42He would tell the animals.
26:45Oh, thank you my friend that you came to check my health.
26:56But I am so sick and old that I cannot even lift my paw.
27:10Can you help me and go inside the cave and bring my meal?
27:24And bring my medicine?
27:29So the animal who would visit him would get into his cave.
27:37As soon as animal is inside his cave,
27:41lion will go inside and kill animal
27:46and he would eat that animal as his food.
27:53Again next day he would do the same thing.
27:59He would come out, sit in front of his cave waiting for the next animal.
28:11Day by day every animal that would come and pay visit to this lion
28:20started disappearing from the forest.
28:28There was a clever fox.
28:32He realized that his friends who paid visit to the lion never came back.
28:42So he thought to himself,
28:45What this lion is doing?
28:48I must see and I must check it out.
28:52What's the matter here?
28:56So he went and paid visit to this lion.
29:04As usual this lion was waiting for his next prey.
29:12He saw this fox and he invited him over.
29:17He said,
29:19Oh dear fox, so nice of you to have come and paid visit to me.
29:34Oh, I am so sick and old.
29:43Can you do me a favor please?
29:48The fox replied to him,
29:51Yes, yes Mr. Lion.
29:53I can definitely help you.
29:56What do you want me to do?
29:59The lion said,
30:01Oh my dear fox,
30:06I have become so sick that I cannot even get up from here.
30:17Can you please go inside my cave and bring me my medicines?
30:28Fox thought to himself,
30:31Yes, this would be his trap.
30:36Then he looked around the cave.
30:39He saw that there was the foot marks of animals only going inside the cave.
30:50He never saw any foot mark which is showing that any animal has come out of the cave.
31:03He smartly understood the move and the intention of this lion and said to him,
31:11Oh my friend lion,
31:14How is it that I can only see the footprints of my friend animals going inside your cave and not coming out?
31:27Is everybody who came to you is inside the cave?
31:31Oh, I don't believe that.
31:34At that time,
31:36Lion realized that fox has understood his evil intentions.
31:44And then he tried to defend himself saying,
31:49Oh no, no, no fox.
31:54I have removed all those marks from the ground.
32:02But this explanation was in vain.
32:06Fox could realize that lion was telling a lie.
32:13So he told the lion,
32:16Oh my dear friend lion,
32:19I know you are lying.
32:22Lion, I know you are lying.
32:26And I know that you have killed all my fellow animals who paid visit to you.
32:34Now this will not happen anymore.
32:37I will go to the jungle and alarm everybody.
32:42So that nobody will come to you.
32:46Remember, the lion would not long for long time.
32:57That way fox went back to the jungle
33:01And told everybody that they should not visit the lion if they love their life.
33:10Otherwise, lion would just kill them with his lie.
33:16From that day onwards,
33:18No animal paid visit to the lion.
33:22And lion actually starved to death.
33:29Moral of the story is,
33:31Never lie to people for your selfish motives.
33:37Otherwise, in the end, you will be left alone with your misery.
33:52The name of the story is the wolf and the crane.
33:58Once upon a time, in a jungle, there lived a wolf.
34:04He was lucky once to get hold of a nice dinner.
34:10He sat in his place and started to eat.
34:19Although there was a lot of food,
34:22He did not want to share the food with anyone else.
34:29He was a very selfish wolf.
34:35So as he was eating so hurriedly,
34:39That a small piece of bone got stuck in his throat.
34:48He tried a lot.
34:51He gargled hard.
34:54He could not swallow the bone or he could not spit it out.
35:01It was very awkward and it was itching his throat all the time.
35:09More he tried to get the bone out,
35:14More and more it got stuck.
35:18So now, he got scared and started thinking to himself,
35:29This bone is stuck in my throat.
35:37How am I going to take it out?
35:40I cannot even breathe.
35:43Suddenly, he remembered that his friend crane who lived just nearby could help him.
35:54He thought to himself,
35:57My friend crane has a long neck and a beak.
36:02I think he can take out that bone from my throat.
36:06So he went to the crane and said,
36:10Oh my friend, I have a bone stuck in my throat.
36:16Can you please take it out?
36:20I will be so obliged.
36:24I will be so thankful to you.
36:29So the crane put his hand on his throat and said,
36:34So the crane put his neck into the throat of the wolf and took the bone out.
36:44Then crane said to the wolf,
36:47Oh my friend, now I helped you, didn't I?
36:53So now can you share a little food of yours with me?
36:58As you know, the wolf was very selfish.
37:03He did not want to share his food.
37:08So he came out with an argument and he said to the crane,
37:14Oh crane, just be thankful that I did not eat you alive when you put your neck into my mouth.
37:27I could have just eaten you alive with your neck in my mouth.
37:35So just thank me that I did not eat you.
37:42The crane was very disappointed.
37:46And he said to the wolf,
37:50Oh wolf, this is not how the friendship is fulfilled.
37:56If you are so selfish, we cannot have the friendship.
38:02So from today onwards, I will not be your friend at all.
38:10From that day onwards, because of the selfishness of the wolf,
38:16He lost his long time friend, the crane.
38:22Moral of the story is,
38:25You should not be too selfish to lose friend.
38:32And you never disappoint anyone who has helped you in your difficulty.
38:41The name of the story is,
38:44The clever fox and the foolish goat.
38:49Once upon a time, in a forest, there was a fox who was roaming in the dark.
38:59Unfortunately, he did not see a deep well in the forest.
39:05Unfortunately, he did not see a deep well in the forest and fell into it.
39:19He could not come out of the well, although he tried his level best.
39:26But alas, he could not manage to come out.
39:30So he had to remain in the well for all of the night.
39:37He was waiting for somebody to help him.
39:46He heard an elephant passing by.
39:50He called that elephant and said,
39:53Oh my elephant friend, please help, please help me, please.
39:58Elephant came to the well and saw that the fox is inside the well.
40:07Elephant said,
40:09Oh fox, how I can help you?
40:13Fox said,
40:15Oh my elephant friend, if you could lower your trunk so that I can catch it and come out.
40:22Elephant tried to lower his trunk, but it could not reach the fox.
40:30So unfortunately, he had to go.
40:38Then came a giraffe.
40:43Fox asked the giraffe,
40:46Oh my friend giraffe, I am so much in trouble. Can you help me come out of this well?
40:54Giraffe said,
40:56Oh my friend, how I can help you to come out?
41:02Fox said,
41:04Can you lower your neck? It is so long that I can catch hold of it and come out.
41:11Giraffe said,
41:12Okay, okay, let me try.
41:15So he lowered his neck into the well.
41:20But alas, his neck also could not reach the height where fox can come out.
41:31So giraffe went away too.
41:35Fox thought about the ideas to come out of the well the whole night.
41:46In the morning, there came a goat.
41:53Now fox thought of an idea and thought of fooling the goat.
41:59Fox called the goat and said,
42:02Oh my dear friend goat, hey, how are you? Oh, it is so nice here.
42:10Goat was surprised.
42:12She asked the fox,
42:14How come that can be nice inside the well? What is so good about it?
42:20Fox said,
42:21Oh my dear goat friend, the water in the well is so sweet.
42:26I am so enjoying it.
42:28I don't feel like coming out.
42:31The goat got lured away by fox's lie.
42:36She said,
42:37Oh, is that the case? Let me also test the water.
42:44She jumped into the well and came out.
42:48She jumped into the well and had her thirst quenched.
42:54After that, even she realized that she got into this well and there is no way out of it.
43:03Then fox suggested to her,
43:07Oh my goat friend, don't worry.
43:09I have a great idea.
43:11Both of us can get out of here.
43:14Goat asked,
43:15Oh, that's great. What is it?
43:17Fox said,
43:19Let me climb on your body and jump off the well.
43:23And then once I reach out of the well, I will fetch you out.
43:28Poor goat.
43:30She believed in fox and she raised her two legs on the wall of the well.
43:38And fox from the body of the goat jumped off the well.
43:44So after the fox came out, he looked down from the top and said,
43:51Oh my dear goat friend.
43:53I'm so tiny.
43:55I'm not able to reach out to you and fetch you out.
43:58Oh my friend, I'm so sorry.
44:01But I have to go now.
44:04The liar fox cheated the goat and went away.
44:08That is where goat realized that she had to think before she leap into the well.
44:18But for the goat, it was too late.
44:22And it was her turn to look for help to come out of the well.
44:30Moral of the story is,
44:32Moral of the story is,
44:35Think before you leap and not all advices are good for you.
45:03He used to buy lot of salt from the nearby town.
45:08And he would put all the guinea bags of the salt on his donkey's back.
45:17And would take the salt back to his village.
45:23This donkey was very very lethargic.
45:29He did not want to work.
45:32He always tried to avoid the work.
45:36But the salt vendor will always punish him with the stick and make him work.
45:45One day, as the salt vendor was coming back from the nearby village,
45:52With lot of salt on the back of the donkey.
45:57There was a stream that came in between in their way.
46:04While they were crossing the stream,
46:07Donkey slipped and fell into the stream.
46:14Because of that, a lot of salt got dissolved in the water.
46:21And when donkey got up,
46:24He realized that the weight on his back is reduced.
46:30That is when he got that idea.
46:35So after that incidence,
46:38Every time the salt vendor and the donkey crossed the stream,
46:45Donkey would deliberately sit down
46:48And make the salt on his back dissolve in the water.
46:55That way he had to carry less load.
47:01Soon enough, salt vendor realized that the donkey is making this trick deliberately.
47:11So one day, instead of the salt,
47:15He put a lot of cotton in the guinea bags and put it on the back of the donkey.
47:24Donkey was very happy this time.
47:28Because he thought to himself,
47:32Oh! If salt was so heavy and I could reduce it down in the stream,
47:38This time the weight is even lighter.
47:42Oh! I don't have to carry anything on my back today.
47:48In that happiness, he came to the stream
47:52And with his usual trick in the middle of the stream,
47:57He sat down in the water.
48:02But this time the result was different.
48:06Because of the cotton, water got soaked into the cotton
48:11And cotton instead of getting dissolved, got heavy.
48:18And so when donkey got up,
48:21It actually had so much of weight on his back,
48:25That he was about to just lie down on the floor.
48:31But this time, the salt vendor pet him with the rod.
48:38And all the way back home, he kept on beating the donkey.
48:44Because he was walking so slow because of the weight.
48:50That time donkey realized that the salt vendor now knows his trick.
48:57And he got so much beaten that from that day onwards,
49:03He decided not to do any trick whatsoever.
49:11So the moral of the story is,
49:14Avoiding the work may actually lead to more work and also the beating.
49:28Name of the story is Unity is Strength.
49:36Once upon a time in a village, there lived a farmer.
49:42That farmer had three sons.
49:46They were always quarreling with one another.
49:51The farmer tried his level best to bring them to the right path.
49:57But they never listened to the farmer and he disadvised.
50:03So the farmer felt very worried.
50:08And he thought to himself,
50:11Hmm, how am I going to convince them that if they keep on quarreling,
50:17The others would take advantage of them.
50:20They have to be together.
50:23One day he thought of an idea.
50:27He called his sons and asked them to bring a few sticks.
50:33All three sons went around and brought some wooden sticks with them.
50:40When they brought those sticks, he tied them into one bundle.
50:46And he gave that bundle to each of the son.
50:51He gave it to the first son and said,
50:54My son, try all your strength and try to break it.
50:59Can you do it? Let me see.
51:02First son said to his father,
51:04Oh father, it is such a simple task.
51:07I will break that in one minute, you see.
51:11Farmer just smiled away.
51:16This first son tried all his strength and power
51:22to break the bundle of sticks.
51:26But he could not break it at all.
51:30Being tired, he gave that bundle back to the farmer.
51:36Now the farmer went to the second son and said,
51:41Son, can you try to break the bundle now?
51:46The son said to his father,
51:48Oh father, this is so easy.
51:52I will break this bundle in just a moment.
51:56Farmer smiled again.
51:59And he watched as his second son struggled to break the bundle into pieces.
52:08After a while, when the second son realized that he could not break the bundle,
52:14he gave it back to the farmer.
52:17Now it was time for the third son.
52:22Farmer went to his third son and said,
52:26Oh son, can you take a shot at breaking this bundle?
52:32Your other two brothers could not break it.
52:35The third son said to his father,
52:38Oh father, it is so obvious.
52:41They could not break it because they are weak.
52:44I am so strong, I will break that bundle in a snap of a second.
52:50Farmer smiled again.
52:54And as he watched the third son again struggling to break the bundle,
53:01he realized that his message is going to get across soon.
53:08As the third son could not break the bundle,
53:12he gave the bundle back to his father.
53:17Now this time, father broke the bundle
53:23and gave one stick each to those three sons.
53:28And said,
53:30Okay, you tried the bundle.
53:33Now can you break the stick?
53:36And before even he finished his sentence,
53:39all three sons of the farmer broke the stick immediately.
53:47Farmer looked at all three sons.
53:51By now, even all three of them realized what their father was telling them.
54:00They realized that if they keep on quarreling,
54:06they will be not united.
54:09And anybody can break them and take advantage of them.
54:14But if they unite and work together,
54:20they will be so strong like bundle of the sticks
54:24that nobody can break their unity and they will always prosper.
54:31The moral of the story is,
54:33Be united and you will emerge as unbreakable.
55:03The forest had wide variety of trees, birds, animals, fruits, flowers
55:20and all the birds and animals moved very freely in the forest.
55:30It was a beautiful sight.
55:34There lived a peacock in that forest.
55:40That peacock had a beautiful body and even more beautiful feathers.
55:49Peacock would dance merrily happily in the rainy seasons.
55:56It was one fine day during the rainy season
56:00and as usual, peacock was dancing very happily in the forest.
56:09Suddenly, peacock thought of singing.
56:14So, it started singing with its voice.
56:18To its dismay, it realized that his voice was not as beautiful as its body.
56:30It was very shrill.
56:33That is when peacock realized that God did not give it the beautiful voice.
56:43That God did not give it the beautiful voice along with its beautiful body.
56:53It felt very sad and tears rolled down from its eyes.
57:03There also lived a nightingale in the same forest.
57:09Nightingale came to this peacock and asked it,
57:16Hey my friend, what happened to you?
57:20Why are you crying?
57:22Why are you sad?
57:24Peacock said to nightingale,
57:27Oh dear nightingale, I don't know how to tell you.
57:33But I have such a beautiful body.
57:36I have such a beautiful body.
57:39But I don't have the beautiful voice.
57:44So what my friend?
57:47You have such a beautiful feathers and a body that itself is enough.
57:52No my dear nightingale.
57:55I wished I also had beautiful voice the way you have.
58:01Oh peacock, you think that I am lucky to have beautiful voice.
58:07But you know what?
58:09When people listen to my voice and they try to find me.
58:13And when they find me, they look at a tiny bird which does not look beautiful.
58:20As much as it sounds beautiful.
58:23And they get disappointed.
58:26Now you think about it my friend.
58:28Although I have a beautiful voice.
58:31I don't have the beautiful body like you.
58:34But everyday I sing merrily and happily.
58:39And actually I thank God to have given me such a beautiful voice.
58:45And I don't complain at all.
58:48That I don't have the beautiful body as you have.
58:54Peacock thought for a minute.
58:56And then it realized.
58:59Nightingale was right.
59:02It should not complain about the bad voice.
59:07But it should always thank God.
59:11For the most gorgeous body that God has given it.
59:17From that day onwards.
59:20Peacock never complained about its voice.
59:24And as usual danced very happily and merrily.
59:31Spreading its feathers on the rainy days.
59:36Moral of the story.
59:39Thank God for what you have.
59:42And don't complain for what you don't.
