Ludlow Brewery are getting ready for there annual Ludlow Race Course day.

Ludlow Brewery have there annual race day coming up at Ludlow Racecourse and this time they will be taking along there larger along with there ales.

00:05Nell and Alison. And you are the family of the brewers. It's your business.

00:12Ludlow Race is a fantastic event. How many years have you been going for with the Ludlow Brewing?

00:17We've been going for 18 years. Yeah, and how many years have you been doing the race day?

00:22It's been a few hasn't it? It's the 6th one. 6th race day.

00:29It's a fantastic day. Do you get to enjoy it or is it a graft for you guys?

00:34We do get some enjoyment, yes. You get to unwind at the end of the day.

00:48Now I can see on your top, 52 latitude. What is this? Because that looks like a lager to me.

00:53I'm not used to lagers at Ludlow Brewing. What's going on? It is, it's our new lager.

00:57How long has that been out then? About a month. Yeah, so it is literally brand new.

01:03And it's the first time you've done a lager? It is the first time we've done a lager.

01:08So what was the thinking behind that then? Just expanding the range? Ticking all boxes sort of thing?

01:15Yeah. How does it compare then? Are you a fan of lager? Yeah, no, it's good.

01:23It is very good. Yeah, Nell will vouch for it. You've sampled a couple.

01:38Toby, how are you sir? I'm doing alright, thank you.

01:41And you're a brewer here? Yes. And just tell us about, you've got lager?

01:46That's kind of thrown me out. What's going on? Yeah, so it's our new lager. It's our very first.

01:52And we brew it fairly often. It's 4% and we have a storage for it after some investments recently.

02:01I was going to say, yeah, it's been quite, you've made use of a space that wasn't being used before.

02:06You've got four giant brew tanks, do we call them? Is that what we call them?

02:10Yeah, DPBs, yeah. I knew that. They hold 5,000 litres each. Wow, so 20,000 capacity.

02:18What's it called again? Just give us the name. Latitude 52, which is our latitude.

02:23Yeah, yeah. It's our position. Ah, that makes sense to me now.

02:28And we're proud to take that name to the race course as well.

02:31Well, that's it because previously you've had lagers and stuff for sale on the race day,

02:34but it's going to be nice to take one with your own brand on it. Yeah, definitely.

02:37Yeah, cool. Yeah, very proud to be able to do that and sell our own product.
