00:00I had a lot of fun.
00:07Like I said, you know, I think the atmosphere of the film, the experience, the energy and
00:14environment that is created in the film, I think, as per my experience, if your director,
00:21if the director sets the right tone, the right, you know, instruction and basically lead by
00:31example, if the director does it well, then automatically that trickle down, the cast,
00:36crew, that energy spreads in everyone.
00:38And I have to give full credit to Vandana Kataria, who is very, very, as I said, very
00:44detailed, oriented and very passionate or focused or almost obsessive kind of a director.
00:51Because of her, our work has become very easy.
00:55Because the script was very well written.
01:00And our workshops, that is the first time where I met Shobita and I must say that she
01:11is a very grounded, very collaborative, very trusting kind of actor.
01:16And because an almost collaborative energy had spread on our set, we all worked without
01:25any ego, very defenselessly.
01:29And I think whenever she and I were in a scene or any other actor, there was never a
01:37moment that we have to enhance our individual performance.
01:41We were all working for a scene.
01:44And I think because of that, a lot of scenes have been shined and because of that, the
01:50film has also become a star of the audience in a way.
01:55So I'm very grateful for that experience.
01:57So basically, when I thought of acting as a profession, all the actors whom I admired,
02:12they basically had one special thing that they used to play different types of characters.
02:19Their range as characters was very good.
02:24In fact, sometimes they would play a businessman.
02:28Sometimes they would play a criminal.
02:30Sometimes they would play different types of characters.
02:34So my dream of acting was always to show my range as an actor.
02:46So that's why I feel that I've been lucky that I've had the opportunity to play different
02:54types of characters.
02:56In Ashram, as you said, I was a reporter.
03:00An idealistic reporter.
03:02In FOMO Shots, I was an NRI.
03:05Basically, a very selfless and very giving sort of a human being.
03:15And in Love Sitara, I'm playing a chef.
03:18And I really enjoyed working in Love Sitara.
03:22Especially our director, the captain of our ship.
03:25She was very collaborative.
03:31She was very giving.
03:32She was very exacting.
03:33She was very detail-oriented.
03:35And because of her, and thanks to RSVP, I got a chance to train as a chef in Farzi Cafe.
03:43I trained there for a month and a half.
03:46Cutting, chopping, slicing.
03:48In fact, I also worked there as a proxy head chef.
03:54So I was a head chef.
03:55But while watching them, I used to learn how they used to take orders.
04:01How they used to manage the kitchen.
04:03They are basically the leaders of the kitchen and restaurant.
04:08And I observed the atmosphere of the kitchen very closely.
04:14Because I knew that in our film, there are 3-4 scenes where plating, cooking, cutting, slicing are intense scenes.
04:27I mean, while doing that, the scene that is happening is also very intense.
04:31So I knew that if I don't know this automatically, then the scene can go wrong.
04:36So fortunately, the month and a half was a lot of fun and hard work.
04:41And I can say that all the scenes of cutting, cooking, and plating were done in one take.
04:50Because if I hadn't spent a month and a half in Farzi Cafe, then I'm sure the day's schedule would have lasted for 3-4 more days.
