00:00Now it's the sit down with Amanda Kloots.
00:02Hi, Amanda.
00:03Let's dig into your new role as moderator
00:06on Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry.
00:08This show is so unique and cathartic for so many people.
00:11I know you've spoken about receiving signs
00:12and seeing mediums since your husband,
00:14Nick Cordero, passed away.
00:16Have you always been a believer your whole life?
00:18No.
00:19No, not at all, actually.
00:23You know, it's crazy.
00:25I grew up Lutheran and very religious,
00:27and so it really wasn't until after I lost Nick
00:31and a medium reached out to me,
00:34and I was so intrigued because I was so sad
00:38about, you know, losing him,
00:41that I gave the medium a chance,
00:44and what came through in that reading,
00:46it was so incredible,
00:49and like information that nobody would have known,
00:54and it gave me so much comfort at that time
00:56that I was kind of, you know, my eyes were opened up to it.
00:59How do you balance being open to signs and messages
01:01from beyond with remembering to be present
01:03in life right here?
01:06You know, this was actually a question I asked Tyler
01:08when I was auditioning with him,
01:10and he gave the most incredible answer.
01:12He goes, Amanda, it's actually not about
01:14what more we can do.
01:15It's subtracting what we're doing,
01:18so like do less, basically.
01:21Listen to our intuition.
01:23Don't let things cloud your mind.
01:26If you see something, it's probably a sign.
01:29Like, don't talk yourself out of it.
01:31Do you know what I mean?
01:32It's like subtract the noise in your life,
01:34and those spiritual guides and that intuition
01:36will actually start coming through.
01:38It's not about what more we can do.
01:40It's about doing less.
01:43You haven't had a personal reading with him yet, right?
01:45No, not yet.
01:47I, listen, I'm completely open to it.
01:49I have received many medium readings,
01:52and I have received so much comfort and healing
01:55from all of them.
01:57I would love that opportunity,
01:59but, you know, I honestly just feel so grateful
02:02to get to know him and be by his side every day,
02:05and to be able to see him give people
02:09the gift of healing in front of me,
02:12it's very cathartic.
02:13This summer was the fourth anniversary of Nick's death.
02:16We've watched you come so far in that time,
02:18from big achievements to quieter wins
02:20of sometimes just making it through the day.
02:22If you could give advice to someone
02:24who finds themselves grieving
02:25or in an unpredictable situation,
02:27somewhere they never thought they would be,
02:29what would those words be?
02:31The thing that has helped me the most
02:33is I always think about what would Nick want me to do,
02:36and he would want me to live.
02:37He would want me to live and love and celebrate
02:40and be the most joyful, successful person
02:44that I could possibly be.
02:46I live my life for him,
02:48and I think that anyone who's grieving
02:52and has gone through loss, it's really hard,
02:55and it can make you feel like
02:57you don't wanna even do anything.
02:59You wanna just lay in bed every day and cry or be alone
03:03or, you know, shove those feelings down,
03:06and it's, I think if we try to think about,
03:10I get to live, you know,
03:12and I get to keep going,
03:15and I get to enjoy time with my son,
03:19and I get to try and I get to dream,
03:21and I think that all of our people that we have lost
03:25would want us to do that,
03:26so I think we have to honor their life in living.
03:30You gotta talk about Elvis.
03:32I cannot believe he's in kindergarten.
03:34You said the first couple of weeks were rough.
03:36How's he doing now?
03:37He's doing great.
03:39Yeah, we had a hard transition,
03:40but he's really doing good now and loves school,
03:44and the school drop-off process
03:47has become very, very easy now, so that's good.
03:50No more tears for me or him,
03:54and yeah, we're rocking and rolling.
03:56I can't believe he's in kindergarten.
03:57It's wild.
03:59Okay, we're gonna put 10 seconds on the clock,
