Six people have been arrested after a pregnant woman lost her baby boy in a hit-and-run crash and remains critically ill in hospital.
The victim in her 30s had been on a pedestrian crossing when she was struck by a dark grey Toyota Prius on Sunday (Sept 29) just before 8pm.
She suffered serious injuries in the collision, and police said the vehicle did not stop at the scene of the horror crash on Station Road, Bamber Bridge, Lancs.
The woman was then rushed to hospital where she underwent emergency surgery to have her baby boy delivered, but tragically, he later died.
