00:00This is Massie for Tamworth Baseball. We've gone through a rebuilding phase. So last year
00:09we started off with 13 kids that we put into a country championships. We kind of did it
00:14the wrong way around. We started with rep and then built on from rep. And from last
00:19year's country championships, our kids kind of, you know, who all were sons and daughters
00:25of players in our current competition. We then went to build a junior competition and
00:30ended up with 90 odd kids. We're really excited that we've got two teams going to country
00:37championships this weekend. So we'll have a Azuka team, which is a tens and under tens
00:42competition and they play off machine pitched pitching. And we'll also have a little league
00:47team, which is sort of 11s to 13s. We're already seeing the benefits of it in our senior program
01:01because we've got mums and dads who, you know, either haven't played for a long time returning
01:05to play or willing to have a go and have a play. So we're already seeing increased numbers
01:10in seniors as a result of the junior program. However, we've also started to have our first
01:15kids who are sort of hitting 14 now, start to enter the B grade competition, which is
01:19really exciting as well.
01:28I think the future is looking much more positive for Tamworth Baseball than what it was.
