Forest fires in southern Greece destroy more than 6,000 hectares of land

The Corinthia region of southern Greece has been affected by aggravated wildfires, which have claimed the lives of two people and destroyed more than 6,000 hectares of land. teleSUR

00:06The Civil Protection Department stated that more than 2,000 people were temporarily evacuated

00:12Throughout the region, around 570 firefighters are engaged in the firefighting operation

00:21The blaze is moving towards the south and east of the country and has so far consumed
00:26more than 6,400 hectares.
