Thousands told to flee raging California wildfire

Flames engulf homes and vehicles in northern California as a wildfire rages, sending temperatures soaring and forcing evacuations. More than 3,500 acres (1,400 hectares) of grass and woodland have been consumed since July 2 when a blaze erupted just outside Oroville.
