00:00Alright, I think there are a few big stories coming out of Week 4 in the NFL.
00:10I think the biggest one is cause for concern out in Philadelphia.
00:17This was a team that I had a lot of high expectations for.
00:22And I think this was also a team that had a lot of pressure on them coming into this
00:25season based off of how two seasons ago went, and then how last season went.
00:30And so now you have to show that last season was kind of the outlier, especially how that
00:35ended.
00:36You have to show that that was the outlier, and the one before that is the one that this
00:40team really is.
00:41And through two weeks, or through four weeks, sorry, it really seems like last year was
00:46kind of what this team is.
00:49It was an awful performance against Tampa Bay.
00:51Just absolutely brutal.
00:53And I think you can explain away a lot of the stuff on offense just with, well, no A.J.
00:59Brown, no Devonta Smith, that's gonna, any team loses those types of weapons, it's gonna
01:03set them back.
01:04But also, you still have, as we talked about last week, you still have Goddard, you still
01:08have Saquon Barkley.
01:10They went out and acquired Jahan Dotson to be a number 3 receiver, I get having him be
01:14the number 1 is not ideal, but it's not like this team is still devoid of talent.
01:19And also, if Jalen Hurts is going to be that guy, and be the big money quarterback, you
01:25kind of need to be able to beat Tampa Bay.
01:28You have to look better than Bo Nix looked last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
01:33I thought it was just dreadful.
01:34But the big issue is how bad this defense was.
01:38They got throttled in this matchup.
01:42Their offensive, or their defensive line, after one week of looking pretty good against
01:45New Orleans last week, the defensive line now looks like it is a problem again, out
01:50in Philadelphia.
01:51And the big thing is, like, Sirianni just did not have this team ready to play.
01:55And I, if this trends even remotely further, the way this is going, then I think that he
02:02is probably out of a job.
02:04Looking at it now, they're in a bye week next week, so at least a stay of execution there.
02:09And then after that, they take on the... why am I not seeing this?
02:15It's an eagle.
02:16How can you not see an eagle?
02:17Oh, they play the Cleveland Browns in Philadelphia.
02:19So, if you lose that game, you're gone.
02:22You're fired.
02:23Right?
02:24So, Sirianni, certainly on the hot seat.
02:25Speaking of coaches who may need to find other employment soon, the New York Jets take a
02:30major step back against the Denver Broncos.
02:33And I will admit, like, we went over on the power rankings on Wednesday.
02:37I was duped.
02:39I believed when I shouldn't have believed.
02:41This is probably still a playoff team, just based off of the AFC.
02:45And this is still a talented roster.
02:47But to consider them contenders, to consider them as I had them a top five team in the
02:52NFL, is asinine.
02:53That was a horrendous loss.
02:55And spare me the, it was rainy and cold.
03:00You play in New York, guys.
03:02We don't take four months off and then you get to play the playoffs in July, okay?
03:07You're going to have to...
03:08It's not going to get better, the weather situation, as the season goes on.
03:13So A, if it's a problem now, fix it, because you're going to have to deal with it.
03:18B, number two, whatever thing you want to use to list the items, the weather was the
03:26same for both.
03:27And if you were to tell me before this game that you get Aaron Rodgers in the Elements
03:32against Bo Nix, I will take that a thousand times out of ten.
03:37Aaron Rodgers, the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin, playing all
03:43of those playoff games so they didn't lose at home for a century, he has played in the
03:48Elements before.
03:49Bo Nix, sucks.
03:51And he's just out of college.
03:53So don't give me the, well it was the weather, because you have Aaron Rodgers, one of the
03:57best bad weather quarterbacks in the league, against a kid, and you also had three extra
04:04days to prepare.
04:05Just an abysmal loss for the New York Jets.
04:08And the penalties were the killer for this team.
04:12And then Robert Salah, after the game, saying, oh well maybe we need to change the hard count
04:15up.
04:16I am not usually on Aaron Rodgers' side on many things, but for Rodgers to come out and
04:22say, or maybe it's time to hold guys accountable, was the perfect response to that.
04:25And the perfect way to handle that sort of a situation.
04:28And he's right.
04:29This team has not held its players accountable for a really long time.
04:33And they need to really get this thing on track.
04:37And it is not by Aaron Rodgers changing how he does things to fit the rest of this team.
04:43Also, you look at who was taking the penalties, it wasn't the rookie left tackle.
04:47If anyone should be having trouble with the hard count, it would be that kid.
04:51So it wasn't him.
04:52So no, this is, um, I have tried to give Robert Salah the benefit of the doubt, because he
04:58seems fun.
04:59Right?
05:00You know, you like the energetic guy on the sidelines.
05:02You like a guy getting fired up.
05:03And also, and I think this is a bigger picture NFL thing to talk about maybe on a quieter
05:08time, but every team is looking for the same thing in a coach.
05:14And I like that they kind of went outside the lines and went for the defensive guru
05:18guy to go out there and try to be a little bit different.
05:21And so I wanted it to work, but it's just, it's not.
05:24It's not working.
05:25I don't think it's going to work.
05:26And I think the Jets are going to be worse because of it.
05:30In terms of teams who played well, I think if we all watched the preview show on Friday,
05:35we have a pretty good understanding that I was not necessarily anticipating that kind
05:39of a showing from the Baltimore Ravens.
05:42That was impressive as hell.
05:44A very good showing over the Buffalo Bills and a really dominant performance by them.
05:52Derek Henry, they, it seems like they've unlocked that now a little bit, and this is what is
05:58so tantalizing about this Baltimore team is that when it is clicking, it is so much
06:03fun to watch and it is so dominant and it can be so dominant.
06:08I do think that from a Bill standpoint, this was a little bit of a reminder that they have
06:13been playing very well to start the year.
06:16But this hasn't really been like, this is still a roster that has some issues.
06:21This is still a team that has some injury problems and it is just not a complete unit
06:27right now for Buffalo.
06:29And so I think that that is something that was just, it was a nice reminder here.
06:35Kay Rimney or Crimney, I will get to the fantasy question here in just a moment.
06:40Detroit reminding us that they're still really good.
06:44We have had some concerns about them for the last couple of weeks, but I think that Seattle
06:48is a really good defense and they kind of torched them a little bit.
06:54They played really well.
06:55Jared Goff, like it was a perfect performance.
06:57That was unbelievable.
06:59And so for him to do that, I think showed he's legit.
07:02But I do think that this kind of showed that Seattle, maybe not on that championship tier,
07:06but Seattle is a threat.
07:08And right now, Seattle looks like the best team in the NFC West.
07:13Right?
07:14Yeah.
07:15West.
07:16I don't know why I blanked on that for a second.
07:17But yeah, they look like they are legit too.
07:19The Packers, another very, or sorry, the Vikings, another very impressive performance on Sunday.
07:24The defense lets up a little bit, allows Green Bay back into this game, but Brian Flores
07:28is an unbelievable defensive coach and he has done such a great job out there in Minnesota.
07:33And Sam Darnold, I don't think it's going to continue at an MVP pace.
07:37I am very interested to see how they handle things going over to face the Jets on Sunday
07:42morning over in England.
07:44But I do think that Sam Darnold is someone that is finally figuring out the right situation
07:51for him.
07:52And that's been really exciting.
07:53And I think the Packers, this is the one where it's like, okay, this Packers defense, we've
07:58had a couple like, are they?
07:59Aren't they?
08:00Are they?
08:01Aren't they?
08:02I have now declared my plague in the ground.
08:03The Packers defense is mid at best.
08:06So I know you've all been waiting for that.
08:07A couple more, Commando's offense is a wagon.
08:10We knew that coming in.
08:11But Jaden Daniels, like you just watch him.
08:13He is gliding out on the football field and the arm strength that he has and the accuracy
08:21and all of that.
08:22It is a complete package what you are seeing with him right now.
08:26And that has been just a delight to watch.
08:29And it's very exciting.
08:31And yes, like this was against Arizona, who isn't that great of a defense.
08:35But to do that against anyone is really, really impressive.
08:40So Commandos have to move up in our mental whatever for the NFL here going forward.
08:46And the last one.
08:48I was duped again, week one, by the LA Rams against the Detroit Lions for how good I thought
08:54they did and how well they hung with that team.
08:57Yes, it's injuries, whatever.
08:58But I need to get back to my preseason assumption that the Rams aren't shit.
09:02So that is a miss by me.
09:05And oops, on that one.
