After many years of barrenness - and a miscarriage along the journey - God blessed Aletta and her husband with twins, according to the desires of her heart!    However, complications threatened the pregnancy as her cervix began opening just five months in, which doctors warned could result in another miscarriage. 00:00My family, my husband's family, they are not twins, and I have been asking God to give me twins.

00:07My daughter's name is Tianani, which means to reconcile, and my son's name is Nyeshe, which means with God.

00:16The sentence, reconcile with God.

00:20My name is Aleta, and this is my husband, Chapara, my daughter Tianani, my son Nyeshe.

00:29We are Zimbabweans, but we live in South Africa.

00:32I contacted God Heart TV in 2022.

00:37I was pregnant.

00:39The pregnancy itself was very problematic, so I was afraid.

00:43I was anxious.

00:44After many years of trying to get pregnant, and also a miscarriage that we had in 2018,

00:52so when I got to God Heart TV, the doctor had said that my cervix had started opening,

01:00and I was only five months pregnant.

01:02So for someone who's already anxious, worrying that whether I will actually hold these children,

01:09I had no other way. I had to seek God.

01:12When I got to God Heart TV, I received a call from Brother Chris,

01:19and I was prayed for, both my husband and I were prayed for.

01:23So I was due for a checkup the following day.

01:26I then went for the checkup after the prayer, and glory to God, the doctor said my cervix had not opened any further,

01:35and for the following checkup, because I would have checkup every month, the cervix never opened again

01:42until it was time for the delivery.

01:45The doctor had said I was going to have the children via C-section.

01:50He said that's just how he does it, to reduce risk if they were my first children in between.

01:59The day I would deliver the children, I went into labor around 3 a.m.

02:03Everything just went so fast that he had no time to prepare me for surgery.

02:08So by 7, I had had my children already by 7 a.m.

02:12Only about three hours of labor, and then I had my children.

02:16And also, to glorify God, they were born at 36 weeks,

02:22and the doctor said that if these children had stayed any longer in the stomach,

02:27it was going to be problematic, because they were getting too big.

02:30So he said, you know, it seems like it's not a good thing that it happened that they are born early,

02:36but it was God's way, it was intentional that way.

02:40You know, everything worked out so good.

02:43So in that 36 weeks they were born, they were born in the right time.

02:48In my family, my husband's family, there are no twins,

02:52and I had been asking God to give me twins because I felt like, you know, the delay.

02:57You know, my peers had two or three kids already, so I had been asking God.

03:02So I asked for twins, and God gave me.

03:05My daughter's name is Tianani, which means to reconcile,

03:09and my son's name is Nyeshe, which means with God, the sentence, reconcile with God.

03:16My name is Tapara. It was a stressful time.

03:19Pregnancy was filled with complications.

03:23And considering that, you know, this was not our first pregnancy,

03:28God came through for us, and we were blessed with two babies.

03:35So we are grateful and happy, and we can hear them smiling and laughing all the time.

03:40So glory to God.

03:42My advice would be to trust God, wait on God,

03:47because sometimes these delays we go through, they build our character.

03:52From the time of asking for the children, I grew spiritually, and I've continued to grow spiritually.

04:01You know, you look at them, sometimes you doubt, but then you look at these children,

04:05and you remember what God has done for them.

04:07Your faith is revived all over again.

04:10As long as God is aware of your problem, you can wait on Him, you can trust Him.

04:15He loves us, He hears our prayers, He gives the desires of our heart.
