00:00The actions of Najib Razak in connection with 1MDB since his appointment as the Trengganu Investment Agency

00:09shows that the former prime minister has an important role in the company involved. The Supreme Court heard today.

00:16In a statement at the closing of the case, Ahmad Akram Garik said,

00:26Former special agent Najib Amhari Ifendi Nazarudin accused TIA of being a special target company for strategic investment abroad

00:44evidence presented in court shows that Najib caused a move to 1MDB

00:50which puts him in a single control over business-related important matters and the company's assets.

00:58Najib was charged with 25 charges of embezzlement and abuse of power over 1MDB funds worth 2.28 billion ringgit

01:07which was put into his own M-Bank account between February 2011 and December 2014.
