VIDEO: सड़क पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने पर सैमसंग के 609 कर्मचारियों को हिरासत में लिया
चेन्नई. तमिलनाडु पुलिस ने कहा उसने सडक़ पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने के मामले में सैमसंग इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स के 600 कर्मचारियों और ट्रेड यूनियन सदस्यों को हिरासत में लिया है। विरोध प्रदर्शन सैमसंग इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स के घरेलू उपकरण संयंत्र में चल रहा था। श्रीपेरंबदूर में संयंत्र के 1,000 कर्मचारी 9 सितम्बर से उच्च वेतन और वैश्विक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स प्रमुख के कारखाने में ट्रेड यूनियन को मान्यता देने की मांग को लेकर हड़ताल पर थे।
पुलिस ने कहा कि सैमसंग के कर्मचारियों और सीटू ट्रेड यूनियन नेताओं को आम जनता को असुविधा पहुंचाने के लिए हिरासत में लिया गया। तमिलनाडु पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार कर्मचारियों को चार विवाह हॉल में रोका गया।
गौरतलब है कि सेमसंग प्लांट में हड़ताल का नेतृत्व कर रही सीटू ने कर्मचारियों के लिए न्यूनतम वेतन 36,000 रुपए प्रति माह करने की मांग की है, जो वर्तमान में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स प्रमुख द्वारा दिया जा रहा 25,000 रुपए प्रतिमाह है। केंद्रीय श्रम मंत्रालय के सूत्रों ने बताया कि उन्होंने मामले को कुशलतापूर्वक सुलझाने में राज्य की मदद के लिए मंत्रालय की ओर से पूर्ण समर्थन का आश्वासन दिया है।
