Trump likens Israel, Iran to "two kids fighting in the school yard"

Former US president Donald Trump has compared Israel and Iran to two children fighting in a school yard.  During a news conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday (Oct 1), the Republican presidential candidate said "However it turns out, they have to finish the process. 00:10It's an honor to be here.

00:13This has really been bad.

00:15But they have to finish that process, however it turns out they have to finish the process.

00:19This is a little bit like two kids fighting in the schoolyard.

00:24Sometimes you have to just sort of let it go a little bit.

00:28And we'll see what happens.

00:30But it's a horrible, horrible war.

00:33And then you see what's happening even today.

00:35You know, where is that going to stop?

00:38And you know, you have to give Israel a lot of credit for being able to protect itself.

00:43You look at these forces.

00:44They shot down almost 200 rockets today.

00:47But this is not the way anybody should have to live.

00:51So we're going to obviously be very involved in the Middle East.

00:57This would have never happened.

00:58We did the Abraham Accords.

01:00I think everybody, including Iran, would have been in the Abraham Accords had I taken over

01:04as president.

01:06I believe I think even Iran would have been in the Abraham Accords.

01:10Ultimately, it would have been great for everybody and you would have had peace in the Middle

01:13East.

01:14A selfie.

01:15She can have a selfie.

01:16She wants a selfie.

01:19You better believe it, right?

01:22Supposing I said, no, that wouldn't be good, right?

01:24You cannot have that.
