00:08But Atio's parents are not content with the sentence because they want the University of Santo Tomas to be punished.

00:23Seven years have passed since the former U.S.T. Law student, Horacio Atio Castillo III, was given justice.

00:33Yesterday, the court sentenced 10 members of Atio's Juris Fraternity to be found guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

00:44The family of the former U.S.T. Law student, Horacio Atio Castillo III, has already served his sentence.

00:50He was then released by the Manila Regional Trial Court, Branch 11, for the 10 individuals found guilty in the hazing of Atio.

00:59The 10 members of Atio's Juris Fraternity were found guilty of reclusion perpetua.

01:04They are Menue Chan, Jose Miguel Salamat, John Robin Ramos, Marcelino Bagtang Jr., Arvin Balag, Ralph Trangia, Axel Monroe, Oliver Onofre, Joshua Makadale, and Hans Mathew Rodrigo.

01:20Aside from this, they also have to pay damages for the expenses and damages that amount to almost P700,000.

01:30The violation of Section 4.1 of Republic Act 8049, or Old Anti-Hazing Law, or hazing that was the cause of the death of the victim.

01:42Despite this, Atio's parents are calling for the University of Santo Tomas to be held responsible for what happened to their son.

02:26According to him, the faculty and the school are always carrying out actions that will give safety to the students.

02:38They said that they are doing their best to prevent what happened to Atio from happening again.
