00:00The odds perspective for the 3-6 matchup in the National League. The Milwaukee Brewers,
00:08the champions of the National League Central. The New York Mets, the best team in baseball
00:12since June 1st. Milwaukee, minus 134 as the series outright favorite, the Mets, the underdog.
00:20It's a best of three series, and the odds makers think it could be two or three. Two
00:26and a half being the overall games of that series over under. But on the spread, you
00:33can see where the Mets are. That doesn't make any sense. The Mets minus one and a half at
00:37minus 350. That's got to be a plus one and a half. I'll confirm that here in just a moment
00:44because the Mets being in that spot would be the series underdog. Joe, how do you see
00:49this series playing out though? We use the odds to drive the conversation. Pretty much
00:54what we're asking. Can the Mets pull off the upset as they have been the best team
00:57in baseball since the start of June? Are we not giving enough credit to the Brewers? Are
01:02they going to win this series? Are we going to see it go the distance? That's just three
01:06games this week. Yeah, I do think the Brewers have the edge, certainly early on, right?
01:14I mean, the Mets have the lesser of the bullpens here in this series. We also know they got
01:21to travel now here today, right? You got Nemo, Alonzo, Bader, most of their starters,
01:28Matone, Edward Diaz already pitched. They're going to be down and they are going to have
01:34a whole lot of guys in this lineup here that have had to play a whole lot of baseball here
01:39down the stretch. So I also don't think the Mets have anybody truly elite starting pitching
01:45wise. Severino is good, but he's not going to be somebody that I think is going to overwhelm.
01:51Not to mention, I think the Brewers are worse against lefties than they are against righties.
01:56I think the Brewers get the first one here today. I wouldn't be playing any overs necessarily
02:03in this series, but I do think that the Brewers have a pretty good shot of finishing this
02:09thing out. I do think it goes three games, but I do think the Brewers pick up the first
02:13one and will eventually win the last one as well.
