00:00At this point, let's talk about the update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Go.
00:24First of all, fellow countrymen, many are hoping for the establishment of a renewable energy in our country after President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. allowed the opening of the first plant of Advanced Lithium-Iron Phosphate Battery in New Clark City, Tarlac yesterday, Monday.
00:45Our President also allowed the opening of the plant as a sign of the message to the whole world that the Philippines is ready for the change to be the first and destination of the high-tech and high-impact initiatives.
01:00When the operation of the plant started, it is expected to bring in Php 5 billion in the Philippine economy.
01:09In his statement, the President said that this is the start of the country's transition to renewable energy, which is expected to attract other businessmen to build renewable energy facilities in the Philippines.
01:23The President also approved the plan of St. Miguiga to open electronic vehicle production in the country in the coming years.
01:31He is in agreement with the government's plan to open the electronic vehicle industry and make local products in the EVS to reduce dependence on imported goods.
01:42It is expected to produce 6,000 electric vehicle batteries per year or 60,000 home batteries.
01:52And when their full production capacity reaches 2030, their target is to increase it to 18,000 EV batteries or 400,000 home batteries per year.
02:05The company plans to export 70% of their output production to Australia, Southeast Asia, and North America, while the remaining 30% will be distributed here in the Philippines.
02:21And because of this, it is expected to open 2,500 direct and indirect jobs for Filipinos.
02:28As of now, 500 will be hired by Filipino engineers, technical, finance, and administrative personnel.
02:34Meanwhile, St. Miguiga is the first locator in the 120-hectare Philinvest Innovation Park, which is part of the more than 1,000-hectare industrial park inside the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone.
