00:30Come on, Ariel!
00:58Reindeers are back at Ibrox for the first time in the league this season.
01:04They did return here in the League Cup last weekend, of course,
01:07and they'll be looking for the same results as they look to make it four wins on the bounce in all competitions.
01:13They face a Hibernian side who are unbeaten in their last three
01:17and who come here to Glasgow looking to do something they've not done in six and a half years.
01:22February 2018 was the last time Hibs came to Ibrox in the league.
01:26Commentary from this one comes from Billy Dodds and Liam McLeod.
01:31September's not quite done yet, but already you wonder just who can stop Celtic
01:36with the way that they are going about their business right now.
01:39Their annihilation of St Johnstone last night and Aberdeen's victory at Dundee
01:43has piled the pressure on Rangers today.
01:46Eight points the deficit with this in hand as they welcome a Hibernian side to Ibrox
01:51that hopes it's turned a corner after winning their first game of the league season.
01:55Last time out, hosts have won the last seven meetings between these two.
02:00It's been 22 league games since Hibs last got the better of today's opponents.
02:06Well, Rangers are fresh from that Europa League victory in Malmo on Thursday.
02:11Passport issues denied Hamza Ighman a trip to Sweden,
02:14but he starts for Rangers for the first time in place of Dessers.
02:18As does Nicolas Raskin for the first time this season.
02:22Cacinuero and Bairame join Dessers on the bench, with Diamonde out altogether.
02:28Talking of first starts, there's one for junior Hoylett for Hibs
02:32after an injury-delayed start to his Easter Road career.
02:35Miller and Campbell also come into the team.
02:38Martin Boyle's had surgery and a troublesome hand injury, so misses out today.
02:43Hibs haven't won at Ibrox since McKinnon McLaren scored in a 2-1 victory six and a half years ago.
02:52Marvellous win for Philippe Clermont in Sweden the other night,
02:56as David Gray was up against the side that he scored against
03:01to secure his legendary status with that Scottish Cup final winner in 2016.
03:11League football returns to Ibrox for the first time this season.
03:16Hibs' last win over Rangers all told was their League Cup semi-victory
03:21courtesy of Martin Boyle's hat-trick a few seasons ago.
03:24And their last four wins over them have actually come in Glasgow,
03:28two here and two at Hamden.
03:30But Rangers, Billy Dodds, favourites, and they have to win.
03:34It's as simple as that right now.
03:36That's all it's about, just keep winning games,
03:38try and back up the performance in Malmo for Rangers,
03:41try and keep the heat on Celtic and Aberdeen.
03:45So far this season for Hibs, it's just backing up the St Johnstone performance
03:49and trying to get something here today,
03:51and if they did, you'd feel as if it would give their season a real liftoff.
03:56Hibs beating St Johnstone last time out after five games without a win,
04:00and actually going back into last season,
04:02they've only won three of their last 13 league games.
04:07A good ball by Bursic in the end,
04:09Caden will keep it in as well.
04:12Has he got the quality?
04:13Well, it's a brilliant ball, there's Hoylett!
04:17Kukerevic wasn't far away from it either.
04:19Well, we know Caden can deliver,
04:21and they're going to get Miller high,
04:23he gets the flick on, Caden delivers,
04:25and then an important touch by Butland,
04:28and then it falls to Hoylett,
04:29and all he had to do was concentrate on keeping it down.
04:38Cherney.
04:40Almost found Tavernier, who gets back onto it.
04:43The mistake from Ekpeteta, and Lawrence...
04:47...sees his effort deflected behind for the corner.
04:49Don't know if it would have troubled the goalie anyway,
04:51but there's the story of Hibs' season so far,
04:53Ekpeteta, really poor header,
04:55just gives it to Tavernier, the lay-off,
04:57Lawrence is dragging it anyway, but it takes a clip for the corner.
05:01Short to Vaclav Cherney, here's Tavernier.
05:05Oh, looping header, which...
05:08...Dorsic wasn't sure about,
05:10and Ross McCausland, who got the second in Sweden the other night,
05:13wasn't too far away.
05:14Yeah, they take the short one,
05:15it's not the best ball in from Tavernier,
05:18but McCausland does well, he's got to come back the way
05:20to try and get purchase on it, you see it there,
05:22and he nearly finds that top corner goal,
05:25he's got it covered though.
05:26Ross McCausland has been brought in for Bayrami today,
05:29who was the other goalscorer the other night.
05:32Massive win for Rangers that one, Billy, wasn't it?
05:35It certainly was, and it was the style they did it in as well,
05:38you would think with a couple getting rested today,
05:40they've got an eye on Thursday against Lyon as well.
05:44There's Cherney, lovely play from Cherney!
05:49And behind it goes.
05:51He's direct, isn't he?
05:53We know he gets in on this left foot,
05:55has twists and turns, hits the strike,
05:57and that could have gone anywhere off a horror.
06:00Well, he'll forever be known as Sir David Gray by the Hibs fans
06:05after that late header sealed the Scottish Cup in 2016.
06:09It's been a pretty difficult start to this season for David Gray
06:13since he was named full-time Hibs boss.
06:18The suitor's ball was brilliantly read by Obita,
06:20and Hibs are coming forward on a counter here.
06:23It's for Kukerevic.
06:25It's a corner.
06:26It's a corner.
06:28Good work by Raskin.
06:31And it was Obita's own making that.
06:33Yeah, it was, but Obita, as we said,
06:35getting high under the little slip ball to Kukerevic,
06:38but Raskin has got to track him all the way.
06:41It would have been a good chance for Hibernian.
06:47He drives it in, flicked off McCausland,
06:49but it comes back to Kwan!
06:51His effort's charged down by Suitor.
06:54Great block.
06:55Very interesting to see where that was going,
06:57had it not been blocked.
06:58Struck it well enough, didn't he?
07:10On the back by Jefty, he's on his bike.
07:13He's away from Miller.
07:15Cherney waits.
07:18And it's scuffed.
07:19Really good positive play by Jefty down the left.
07:22Jefty robs him.
07:23He doesn't time the tackle and they're under pressure.
07:26And Cherney maybe could have done better,
07:28got a crisper shot away.
07:31Miller.
07:35Miller's away here.
07:37A couple waiting in the middle.
07:38And that's, again, brilliant defending.
07:42This time, it's on the other end.
07:44Robin Propper.
07:47There's a hips corner.
07:52Hoylet with it.
07:54There's Kwan.
07:56Keeps it alive.
08:00Junior Hoylet dinks it in with the left.
08:04Breaks to Kwan.
08:06Now he would love a goal today,
08:07not just to help his own team,
08:09but to help his parent club as well.
08:11It's a half chance, isn't it?
08:12You can see he had to go try and cut across it
08:15to go across Jack Butland,
08:16but never caught it right anyway.
08:19Jefty.
08:20Raskin.
08:22He was there with the dummy.
08:25And Lawrence couldn't find him.
08:27There's McCausland.
08:30Lawrence!
08:31Oh, that is magnificent!
08:34But the flag has gone up.
08:37And Tom Lawrence thought he'd scored
08:40a quite sublime goal there.
08:43Again, it all came from Wales.
08:45Oh, how tight's that?
08:46Nick Poteta.
08:48Loops on line.
08:50He might yet be giving this, you know.
08:53Refractions if it is.
08:56But Kevin Clancy and the VAR team
08:58will be reviewing that.
09:03He didn't even get the chance to celebrate it,
09:05the flag was up so quickly.
09:10All eyes on Nick Walsh.
09:13Here we go.
09:15Here we go.
09:17Goal given!
09:20And now the celebrations can begin.
09:24A superb goal from Tom Lawrence,
09:28who started the season really well.
09:31And Rangers have the lead.
09:33It's a lovely little pass from McCausland,
09:35it was so tight.
09:36And when it is that tight,
09:37you don't want to see goals,
09:39let alone goals of that quality chopped off.
09:42And it was just a brilliant,
09:44brilliant finish from Tom Lawrence.
09:46Lovely reverse by McCausland as well
09:48to set it all up.
09:51Well, there's the confirmation.
09:54Hoylett.
09:56Gets it on to the right.
09:58Eventually,
09:59suited away,
10:00back in by Miller.
10:02Suited again.
10:04Kwan's header.
10:06McCausland put that back towards his own penalty area.
10:09Penalty area,
10:10Barron bails him out.
10:15Hoylett.
10:18Kwan sets himself.
10:20Oh, he's not far away.
10:23And he knows it.
10:24It's a great effort,
10:25brilliant from Hoylett.
10:26Little drop there.
10:28Shifts it inside,
10:29a little pop-off there,
10:30brilliant.
10:31Look at that.
10:32When he gets there,
10:33you can see the space.
10:34Oh, that's a vital touch from Butler.
10:35Brilliant.
10:37It's a great save.
10:39Final minute of the 45.
10:42Hoylett's corner.
10:43Nick Petetta's header.
10:45It's Kukerevic!
10:47And they're claiming handball.
10:50I think we'll have a look at that.
10:52I mean, once he went ahead on that back area,
10:55Rangers looked a bit of trouble,
10:56and then when it breaks to Kukerevic,
10:58it kind of pops up off him.
10:59We'll get a look at it.
11:01And it looks as if Suter's kind of swiped over with his arm.
11:04We'll get a better look here.
11:07Mmm.
11:08Now then.
11:09Big decision to make.
11:11It's clearly come off his arm.
11:17Yeah.
11:18He's going to look at it himself.
11:20And it looks like the Hibs are going to be
11:22awarded a penalty here, Billy.
11:26You can see, it's just this moment there,
11:28that movement there.
11:29Although I think Butler,
11:30you can see in the picture,
11:31is going straight at him,
11:33I think he's moved his arm towards the ball,
11:35and I think that might make up...
11:38It's a penalty.
11:39You see that, it has to be a penalty, doesn't it?
11:41I think so.
11:42Now he's looking at it.
11:44Well, you know all those kind of things
11:46are running through his head
11:47as Nick Walsh points to the spot,
11:48Hibs have the penalty.
11:53James Tavernier, the Rangers captain,
11:56in dialogue with Nick Walsh.
11:58He's making the point that his arm's in by his body,
12:00because it's so close to his body,
12:02he's probably spared him a card.
12:06The big man on loan from Swansea
12:08has the chance to bring Hibs level
12:10just before the interval.
12:12From the spot.
12:15Kukarevic against Butland.
12:18Oh, it's poor, it's so poor.
12:22Butland saves, but that was
12:25passed back to the Rangers' keeper, really.
12:28And Kukarevic spurns the big chance.
12:32Yeah, he's not caught it well, has he?
12:34He's not put it far enough away to the goalkeeper.
12:36He's had plenty of time to think about it
12:38while they're making a bad decision,
12:40and you have to credit Butland,
12:41he's guessed the right way, he's held on to it.
12:43Could be a vital moment in the game, that.
12:51Terrible touch by Triantis,
12:53and he's got his team potentially
12:54in all kinds of trouble here.
12:56Ooh, flies wide the outside of the boot there of Jefte.
13:03It's good anticipation from him
13:05to break down the move.
13:07Hibs, again, not getting it cleared.
13:10Today, generally, defensively, perhaps,
13:12you know, the mistakes that they are making
13:14are causing problems,
13:15but actually, they've competed in the game pretty well,
13:17and here's another opportunity for Hibs
13:19to get a bit of a head start.
13:21Good ingenuity there by Campbell.
13:23Hoylett's ball in.
13:26There's Kwon.
13:27There's another pop at Jack Butland's goal.
13:29As we said, he's had a few today,
13:31getting himself up in the game for anything coming out.
13:33It's Hoylett again, it's a lovely cross,
13:35but, again, the one thing he doesn't do
13:37is get the ball out of the way.
13:40He's got it, and he's got it.
13:41He's got it.
13:42He's got it.
13:44He's got it.
13:45He's got it.
13:46He's got it.
13:47He's got it.
13:48He's got it.
13:49The one thing he doesn't do is hit target.
13:55That's a good header by Dessers.
14:00Zibrak from Sterling.
14:05Tavernier leaving it,
14:06and the effort from Lawrence is held by Bursic.
14:17Dessers.
14:18It's well defended by Peteta,
14:20he's had a few of those in the last couple of minutes.
14:24It was good from Dessers, really positive,
14:26nice little turn.
14:28If he'd got beyond the last man here,
14:30he'd probably have scored.
14:34Well, the Rangers fans collectively shout handball there.
14:37Final ten minutes of the 90 now.
14:42Bayrami.
14:44Good ball, Dessers!
14:46And how on earth has Bursic kept that out?
14:51Still alive, Sterling's header.
14:54But that was a wonderful piece of goalkeeping,
14:56and I think Serial Dessers is wondering as well.
14:59He's ended up in the net,
15:00but he just throws his hands out and it hits him.
15:03It's a brilliant stop.
15:05Probably should score,
15:06but take nothing away from that save.
15:08That is out of this world.
15:11Bursic, he's on loan from Club Brugge in Belgium.
15:15The Englishman.
15:16There's not much to do, but that was top draw.
15:19Absolutely, and if Hibs somehow gets something out of this game,
15:23that will be as good as a goal.
15:26Here's Levitt.
15:33Plenty forward here.
15:35And there's the header!
15:38And it's not far away either.
15:40And Dwight Gale looks to the heavens,
15:43and going by his reaction,
15:44he feels he should have scored here.
15:46Going by Butler's reaction,
15:47he knows he's beaten if it's hit the target.
15:49It's a brilliant ball,
15:51and it just clears that left post by millimetres.
15:55They must have thought he was scoring as well.
16:00Rangers looking to put this to bed,
16:02without the need for a nervy end.
16:14And a foul by Gale.
16:18You can see what he thinks of that,
16:19but it was a foul.
16:21You can see him getting a hold of Dowell's shot.
16:23It's almost an emergency signing for Hibs' Dwight Gale,
16:26but he potentially could still do a heck of a job for them up front.
16:29I think so.
16:30Rangers free kick, though.
16:31If he could score here, it would be over.
16:34And Proper probably should have scored.
16:37And this game should be put to bed.
16:39Yeah, it's a really good chance to get himself freed up,
16:42and should be getting the header down and on target.
16:50There's still potentially a point in this for Hibernian.
17:07Iwan evades Barron.
17:13And beat it.
17:18That was a fabulous ball for Miller,
17:19pulled back by Chris Caddon,
17:21and his effort charged down by Proper.
17:23That's two good pick-outs.
17:25Diagonal ball, and then Miller with a knockdown to Caddon,
17:28and he flushes it.
17:29But the man in picture gets an important block.
17:36And again from Lewis Miller.
17:39And that is going to be a Hibs corner.
17:43You see the Hibs fans in the corner over there.
17:47Willing this in.
17:48This is going to be it, now or never.
17:52Well into the final minute of stoppage time at the end of the game, this.
18:02Hibs are going to take something.
18:04They have to score here.
18:07From Levitt.
18:08It's away by Souta.
18:09It's a commanding header.
18:10Iwan.
18:12Just about keeps it alive.
18:15Levitt.
18:18I make that time-up.
18:21Hibs are allowed to get this ball into the box, though.
18:25And it's bobbling around.
18:26Eventually goes behind.
18:30And O'Hara with his arms outstretched.
18:33Philippe Clermont almost there.
18:35This is going to be a hard-fought victory by the looks of things for the Rangers manager.
18:40As O'Hara's booked.
18:42Dill and Souta just do enough.
18:44Looks as if it comes off Tavernier in the end, though.
18:48That's it.
18:50Rangers win.
18:54But it was a hard-fought battle.
18:57Against Hibernian.
18:58It's a fourth successive victory for Philippe Clermont.
19:03And he can now turn his attention to Lyon here in the Europa League on Thursday.
19:07David Gray saw plenty positives from Hibs today.
19:10Tom Lawrence's wonderful strike in the first half.
19:13Enough to seal the three points.
19:16Kukerevic burning that penalty, though.
19:19Right at the end of that first half.
19:22As his team effort was saved by Butland.
19:25Bursic pulled off a world-class save to deny Cyril Desos to keep Hibs alive.
19:32But the points are staying at Ibrox.
19:36And finish Rangers 1, Hibernian 0.
19:41The performance was not incredible top.
19:45But that's also difficult after playing that early after a European game.
19:51When you play away.
19:53When you come at home or back at Okinawa around 2 o'clock in the morning.
19:58So players lose a lot of sleep.
20:00So I saw with a few players less freshness than last couple of weeks.
20:06And I saw it more in the second half.
20:08But it's a normal thing.
20:10In those moments you need to also keep your focus, your concentration.
20:14And keep the clean sheet.
20:16And have the win. What the team did.
20:18Listen, I'd never accept losing games of football.
20:20But I think if there is a way to lose a game.
20:22It's probably at least the players put absolutely everything into that.
20:25I can't fault that at all.
20:27The game plan was good.
20:29I thought the chances we created were good ones.
20:31I thought we were a bit unlucky in certain situations.
20:33But I thought the least we deserved was a point from that game.
20:35I thought we were very, very good.
20:37The boys are gutted because they put that much into it.
20:38But there's a lot of positives to take from it as well.
20:41I've also been saying now for numerous weeks that we are getting better all the time.
20:44The working together.
20:46The group getting stronger.
20:48The competition for places.
20:50I probably sound like a broken record saying that for the last 3 or 4 weeks.
20:52But you're starting to see evidence of that now.
20:54And that's the benchmark now.
20:56We need to keep pushing.
20:58And if we can play like that I'm sure we'll have a successful season.
21:00I don't see what John can do different.
21:02So the ball comes.
21:04He turns himself.
21:06He goes with his leg towards the ball.
21:08To block it.
21:10Or to get the ball.
21:12So his arm is up.
21:14He sees the other one touch the ball.
21:16So he puts his arm in.
21:18And that moment when his arm is in front of him.
21:20He gets the ball on the elbow.
21:22And because of the contact his arm goes up.
21:24They cannot let their arms disappear also.
21:27And it's a short distance.
21:29From one metre to one metre and a half.
21:31So there's totally no intention.
21:33So the last couple of weeks these situations were no penalties.
21:36We had several cases like that.
21:38And a job well done.
21:40And yeah.
21:42Then you don't feel so happy when you get a penalty against like that.
21:46So for sure we will have the explanation this week about that.
21:50That we can explain also our players really well.
21:53What is a penalty or not.
21:55For us and all over the competition.
21:58Well Cami, Rangers got the win that they wanted.
22:01But Hebs came here and had a real go didn't they?
22:03Yeah they did.
22:04Hebs were very impressive.
22:06Especially the second half.
22:08They threw a lot at Rangers.
22:10They had some good link up play.
22:12Junior Hoylett was fantastic throughout the game.
22:14A real threat at the top end of the pitch.
22:16And they had that big chance with Dwight Gale as well.
22:18So they had a real threat at the top end of the pitch.
22:20And again they will be disappointed with the loss today.
22:23Let's look back at some of the action.
22:25And the opening goal for Rangers.
22:27An absolute cracker.
22:29There was a VAR check but it was all good.
22:31And it was a stunning strike wasn't it?
22:32A fantastic play from McCausland.
22:34Sliding him in.
22:36And then he's just cut inside onto his right foot.
22:38Managed to just glide it into the top corner.
22:40In between two Hebs defenders trying to get the challenge in.
22:42But they couldn't.
22:44It was a fantastic finish from Tom Lawrence.
22:46And as you say the linesman had his flag up.
22:48But VAR intervened and rightly gave the goal.
22:50Would you be expecting Rangers from that moment
22:52when they go ahead to go further ahead.
22:54To bring a bit more intensity to the game.
22:56But that didn't seem to happen did it?
22:58Yeah it was a bit flat today.
23:00Even before that goal there wasn't the fluid play
23:02from Rangers after such a big result
23:04in midweek in Malmo.
23:06But yeah they just didn't get going.
23:08I expected after that Lawrence goal
23:10for them to kick into the next gear.
23:12Didn't quite happen.
23:14But almost this rejuvenated Hebs
23:16and they kind of galvanised themselves.
23:18Got into the game and they were a real threat
23:20as I said before throughout the whole game.
23:22And then Hebs were given the chance.
23:24A real opportunity to score an equaliser.
23:26Before we look at the actual penalty itself
23:28let's look at the incident that led to the penalty.
23:30John Suter a judge to have handled the ball
23:32on route to goal.
23:34What were your thoughts on it?
23:36Yeah listen for me I think it is a handball.
23:38I think it is a penalty.
23:40I think yes there's close proximity.
23:42I don't think John Suter actually means to handball it.
23:44He's just trying to block the shot.
23:46But he's hands away from his body.
23:48I know he's trying to bring it back in.
23:50For me it is a penalty kick.
23:52The referee's got the decision right eventually
23:54when VAR intervened.
23:56So I think it was definitely a penalty.
23:58A lot of people will make the comparisons
24:00to the incident.
24:02Dan Casey.
24:04But right decision not to send John Suter off?
24:06Yeah I think so.
24:08You look at it and Jack Butlin's behind John Suter.
24:10Again I don't think it's deliberate action from John.
24:12So I think it was the right call from the referee
24:14to not send him off and for VAR
24:16to not intervene and do that as well.
24:18So yeah probably the right outcome for me
24:20in that decision.
24:22Now Hebs get the penalty.
24:24From your point of view as a former goalkeeper
24:26is Jack Butlin being the hero
24:28or is it a poor penalty actually?
24:30No I think it's a poor penalty.
24:32The way he does it and the way he slows himself up.
24:34I always think when players do that
24:36they have to generate the power themselves.
24:38They almost have to send the goalkeeper the wrong way.
24:40Jack Butlin has done his homework
24:42and he knows what way the player's going to go
24:44and it ends up being an easy save for Jack Butlin.
24:46But you've got to give Jack credit
24:48because it was a huge moment in the game
24:50that he makes that save
24:52and again it kind of turned it a little bit for Rangers.
24:54And again him making that save
24:56keeping Rangers ahead in the game
24:58you would have thought again
25:00that might have galvanised the home side
25:02in the second half
25:04and we heard Philippe Clement
25:06talking about how disappointed he was
25:08with these players playing in the second half
25:10because Hebs were dominant weren't they?
25:12They were, yes.
25:14And again as you say Jane
25:16that save from the penalty
25:18going into halftime you think Philippe Clement
25:20would have the chat with his players
25:22that this Hebs team is a real threat
25:24so we need to be on our game
25:26we need to up our game.
25:28It didn't happen for Rangers in the second half
25:30they were really slack in possession
25:32went 1-0
25:34Hebs believed they could get something out of the game
25:36and created a number of chances
25:38that they'll be disappointed if they didn't take.
25:40The crowd were frustrated
25:42and they took their frustrations out on Cherney
25:44on a couple of occasions
25:46one occasion it got a little bit too much
25:48for the player himself
25:50and we saw Philippe Clement
25:52having a little word with him
25:54when he came off it subbed off as well.
25:56You can understand the player
25:58wanting to bite back in a sense
26:00but it's ill-advised isn't it?
26:02Obviously they've been playing at Hampden
26:04again the frustration
26:06the event of frustration from the fans
26:08you can feel it on the pitch when you're a player
26:10but you can't react to it
26:12you just need to get on with your game
26:14they've just got huge expectations
26:16which is right enough from the Rangers fans
26:18but Cherney can't react
26:20and I think that's what Clement would have said
26:22once he subbed him
26:24he would have just said
26:26look you need to hold your emotions in
26:28and try and concentrate on your game.
26:30Hebs will be disappointed
26:32from this performance won't they?
26:34Yeah absolutely
26:36going forward especially
26:38and again this is a Rangers team
26:40that we looked at mid-week
26:42and really were firing on all cylinders
26:44were very comfortable in their 2-0 victory
26:46against Malmo
26:48and you would have expected
26:50another performance from Rangers here
26:52but you've got to give credit to Hebs
26:54they came here with a game plan
26:56they created a number of opportunities
26:58they frustrated the Rangers for long periods as well
27:00so they'll take real confidence from this
27:02and obviously on several occasions
27:04he was getting a lot of joy
27:06wasn't he out wide
27:08the legs probably gave up a little bit
27:10and that's why he was taken off
27:12but he's still a quality player isn't he?
27:14Yeah a real threat
27:16he was brilliant 1v1s
27:18that's what he was wanting all game
27:20was 1v1s and taking on players
27:22real spark on this left hand side
27:24against Tavernair
27:26so he had a real battle on his hands
27:28did Tavernair
27:30so yeah you can see he's got real quality
27:32as well
27:34How much do you think
27:36that Thursday night took out of Rangers
27:38and how concerning is that
27:40that they've got Europe again
27:42this midweek coming?
27:44Listen Rangers will be delighted with the 3 points today
27:46you can't take that away from it
27:48it's a difficult game always
27:50off the back of travelling and European football
27:52they've now got a little bit of time to rest
27:54before Thursday night
27:56which is a huge game
27:58but they're here at Ibrox again
28:00so they'll get their feet up
28:02and have a chance right at the end as well
28:04again former goalkeeper
28:06you're probably going to big up
28:08the Hebs goalkeeper
28:10but that was a brilliant save wasn't it?
28:12It was a fantastic save
28:14again Dessars was trying to generate the power himself
28:16it was a well stood up cross to the back post
28:18Dessars gets a decent header on it
28:20but it's a brilliant save
28:22and it's a moment as David Gray said after the game
28:24you need your goalkeeper to make big saves at Ibrox
28:26he did that, he kept him in the game
28:28they just couldn't find that breakthrough
28:30couldn't get that goal to get the late equaliser
28:32mixed up from them
28:34if they show that kind of character
28:36they could get something from that game
28:38yeah and I think you've seen the reaction from the fans
28:40that were here today
28:42they were really positive in the performance
28:44especially the second half
28:46they had a number of opportunities
28:48Gale's chance was a huge chance
28:50and could have changed the game
28:52but it wasn't for them
28:54so they'll just need to build on this
28:56and try and take that forward
28:58Cammie thank you very much indeed for your insight
29:00so a win here at Ibrox for Rangers
29:02and we'll be back at all the games from Saturday
29:33it's Kiyoko!
29:36a deadly finish

30:14it's St Johnstone now
30:16Celtic 2
30:26quick pass for Johnstone
30:28Kuhn has it again
30:30the lay-off
30:32the delivery over
30:34and there's another
30:36and it's another
30:38for Kiyoko
30:41and the Celtic party starts again in Perth
30:51another option
30:54Ramos uses
30:57Callum McGregor
31:00unbelievable
31:02he does it again
31:05and it's another goal
31:07for Callum McGregor
31:08and he enjoyed that one
31:14Forrest, Johnstone's made the move
31:16it opens up space for Paolo Bernardo
31:18and he looks towards Maida
31:23now he has his goal
31:27and Celtic slice through St Johnstone
31:29once again
31:34he drops the shoulder
31:36McEwan
31:37encouraged to shoot
31:38flipped over
31:39the lay-off
31:40unselfish
31:41what a wonderful team goal
31:43but it won't stand
31:46Adam Ida
31:47denied by the offside flag

32:07in his last 3 games
32:19Keskinen could be in here
32:20Keskinen lays it back
32:21and there's the opening goal
32:22for Kevin Nesbitt
32:24stroking it into the bottom corner
32:27to give Aberdeen the lead
32:33it's a terrific
32:34cool finish
32:35from Nesbitt
32:36but it owes a lot
32:37to the error from
32:38Cometeo
32:39just doesn't deal with this
32:40through ball
32:41and Keskinen
32:42laid it on a plate
32:43for Nesbitt
32:53fell over his own feet there
32:54and Aberdeen could be in
32:55once more
32:56it's Keskinen
32:57can he pick the right option here
32:59oh yes he can

33:13try and get it back in there
33:15back with Cameron
33:16who's gone for goal
33:17decent save from Mitov
33:19saw it late I think
33:25McCracken goes route one
33:27Simon Murray looking to get in here
33:28he might be in here
33:30the challenge comes in from Malloy
33:32and the referee points to the spot
33:39it's Murray against Mitov
33:41from 12 yards
33:43up he steps
33:45and Cooley slots it in
33:48sending Mitov the wrong way
