00:00In his departure from the senatorial slate of the administration, Senator Aimee Marcos was asked if her friendship with Vice President Sara Duterte was taken into consideration.

00:12She also said that she is ready to do it if the President invites her.

00:20Senator Aimee Marcos herself said that when she withdrew from the admin slate, she announced that she will run as an independent candidate in the election of 2025.

00:31I just thought that I don't want to listen to a party, a sector, a personality.

00:37It's a tremendous sacrifice to stand alone.

00:41But I need to be free to cross the line, to talk to all parties and to get things done.

00:49When asked if her friendship with Vice President Sara Duterte was taken into consideration in her decision to be independent.

00:56If you have two close friends and they are fighting, will you side with one another?

01:05Of course, what you want to happen is to greet them, talk to them and you will be the path for them.

01:14And if they are not ready to side with each other, you will wait for them.

01:40She hasn't talked to Vice President and her brother, President Bongbong Marcos.
