00:00I'm very sorry I can't be with you in person, but I think everybody understands why that
00:28is. I'm hoping it won't be an impediment to business and I want to get right down to business
00:34because I do have a proposition for you. Let us work together, you, me, all of us, to nail
00:43down our place in the United Kingdom. How do we do that? I believe we do it by igniting
00:50a great passion in people, a passion for life and a yearning for better. By delivering on
00:56Carson's vision of Scotland when he said it should be an example of good government,
01:01of fair government, of honest government and a government not for sections or factions,
01:08but a government for all. This is a small country, 1.9 million people. Every single
01:15one of that number deserves an equal chance at life. They deserve our political parties
01:21to join together to move mountains, to create political opportunities. Where the mountain,
01:28as David Trimble put it in his opening Nobel lecture, is not a mountain ahead, but the shadow
01:34of the mountain behind. It is a dark sludge of historical sectarianism which we can leave
01:42behind us if we wish. That is the way to secure our place in the Union. So I ask you,
01:56what fires your imagination, what motivates you to try harder, what gets you out of bed
02:01in the morning and reaching for the stars?
