Olympic village furniture up for sale in French charity shops

To the north of Paris, the Olympic Village closed its doors on Sept. 10, 2024, but for the past two weeks, 800 people have been busy emptying the athletes' rooms, with most of the furniture to be reused. The rooms must be emptied of their furniture before developers turn them into housing by mid-2025, and anything that can be salvaged must be sorted and redistributed, in particular to Emmaüs charity shops.
