00:00Government's biggest roadshow for relief and assistance hit the province of Cavite,

00:05a huge voting block of over two million that delivered hugely for the president in the

00:10May 2022 polls.

00:12And the thousands who showed up today did not go home disappointed or empty-handed with

00:17so much freebies and giveaways to the tune of almost a billion pesos.

00:22Our Mela Lesmora took her team to the birthplace of Philippine independence and she filed this

00:27report.

00:30FE arrived early at the Aguinaldo Shrine in Cavite.

00:34This was to participate in the Bagong Pilipinas Servicio Fair, a project of President Ferdinand

00:39R. Marquez, Jr. featuring various government assistance, services, and programs.

00:44FE's trip was well worth it because she got assistance and other gifts.

00:48Thank you very much, President Marquez.

00:51Because of you, all of us Filipinos received your program.

00:57House Speaker Martin D. Romualdez led the opening ceremony of the BPSF Caravan in Cavite

01:02along with nearly 200 congressmen.

01:05The Revillia family, headed by Senator Bong Revillia, served as a local host for the event.

01:10To tell you the truth, this is the first time this has happened in our country.

01:16This is the kind of program that our fellow Filipinos truly feel.

01:23So let's give it up for our beloved President Bong Bong and House Speaker Martin D. Romualdez.

01:29The Bagong Pilipinas Servicio Fair will be up in Cavite until tomorrow.

01:34According to the BPSF National Secretariat, around 120,000 beneficiaries are expected

01:39to receive assistance during the two-day caravan with nearly a billion pesos worth of programs

01:44and services being offered.

01:46We have already recessed, we have already taken a break.

01:49They should go home to their provinces, but they are here in Cavite

01:55because we love all of you here in Cavite.

02:01Aside from the BPSF Caravan, several pocket events were also launched in Cavite

02:06including Dakard, Isip for the Youth, and Sibol programs.

02:10But wait, there's more.

02:11Organizers also brought entertainment for the beneficiaries featuring some famous artists.

02:36For BPSF National Secretariat lead and House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias Gabonada Jr.,

02:42the launching of events is by all means a success.

02:45Despite the scheduled filing of Certificates of Candidacy next week for the 2025 midterm elections,

02:50Gabonada said the BPSF Caravan will not be affected.
