00:00The strongest hurricane ever to make landfall in the Big Bend of Florida is about an hour away.
00:08Our team coverage continues now live with storm chaser Aaron Jayjack.
00:13He is live in Perry, Florida.
00:15So again, we've made the call.
00:17The landfall is going to be just off to your east, just off to your west, Aaron.
00:23But you are getting in.
00:24You're going to be into that eyewall here within the next 15 to 20 minutes.
00:30We are moments away from that eyewall.
00:35We're already feeling the effects of the pressure in Perry, Florida.
00:39As you can see behind me, frequent power flickers here and power flashes going on all throughout
00:44the area.
00:45Winds gusting 50, 60 plus miles per hour right now.
00:49Probably sustained winds in the 40 to 50 mile per hour range as well.
00:52So conditions are getting very nasty here.
00:54Unfortunately for right now, we do still have power here in Perry, Florida.
01:08How about we do this?
01:10Take the camera and I want you to pan around and zoom around and show our viewers some
01:15of the conditions that we're dealing with here.
01:17Let's show what we're looking at here.
01:19There is the rain that's falling.
01:21You can see it's almost falling in parallel here as we're looking at wind gusts of over
01:2860 miles per hour.
01:29Aaron's going to walk through the lot here.
01:31Aaron, do be careful.
01:32You can see the rain coming in.
01:34As bad as things are now, they are going to ramp up here very quickly within the next
01:39half hour to 40 minutes or so.
01:41So Aaron, do be safe.
01:43Again, you are in extreme wind warning right now.
01:46Wind gusts of at least 115 miles per hour.
01:51There's been the flickering of power outages, and I suspect, again, things will be going
01:56downhill very quickly.
01:57Aaron, we're going to check back with you.
02:00Stay safe, my friend.
02:01You're going to be getting in to the eyewall of the strongest hurricane ever to hit the
02:06Big Bend of Florida.
02:08That's coming within the next 15 to 20 minutes.
02:12in Perry.
02:14In Perry, that is, let me see, located about 56 miles away from the center of the circulation
02:23of Haleen.
02:24All right.
02:25We called.

02:34This is Jefferson County.
02:36That's where we're going to be getting the landfall here within the next 45 minutes or
