00:00Start, sit, moving on, Zach Ertz, the commanders at Cincinnati or Colby Parkinson for the Rams,
00:10home to the Niners here.
00:12The only thing is you'd have to wait for the Ertz stat.
00:14So I'm going to lean Parkinson just on that, but Joe, yeah, look, Ertz was resting on Thursday.
00:23It's veteran stuff.
00:24I wouldn't really get too concerned with it.
00:26Both games he's played so far with Jane Daniels.
00:28He's had four targets in both of them.
00:31He's finished his tight end 18 and then tight end eight.
00:33Now, Colby Parkinson theoretically has a lot of targets here that could become his.
00:37The problem is that offensive line is just, it's Swiss cheese right now.
00:41And I'm concerned of Matthew Stafford finishing this game.
00:44I'm concerned about Matthew Stafford's health in this game.
00:46I really am.
00:47So it's something, it is, and it's not like to make a joke of it either.
00:53It's legitimate in terms of the way I'm approaching it and investing in it or not investing in
00:58it.
00:59I think the 49ers are going to be hungry for a victory.
01:01I think it's going to be one where the defense knows that the offense is banged up and they're
01:04going to show up and they're going to win this game for them.
01:07So at the end of the day, even though Parkinson is tempting and might have more upside, I
01:12think Ertz might be the safer play.
01:14So they're going to be behind.
01:17They're going to have to throw the football Washington against the Bengals.
01:20That's a good situation there.
01:21And with the a dot so far, the Jane Daniels has shown us he's not throwing a ball real
01:25far.
01:26He kind of goes into the wheelhouse here of the tight end Zach Ertz.
01:30So give me Ertz here.
01:31It's very close, but I'll take Ertz here for the win.
01:34Joe, you're using that stat a dot for those that are new to it.
01:38Average depth of target, correct?
01:41Correct.
01:42All right.
01:43Let's go to quarterbacks based off of the average depth of target.
01:46Geno Smith for the Seattle Seahawks, a team that Joe believes is just has padded stats,
01:50really hasn't played anyone, right?
01:52They have Miami and then Justin Fields.
01:54Even in a loss, Pittsburgh can still show you that they're viable, and I think that's
01:57important here as Pittsburgh has the Chargers.
02:00I'm going to lean Justin Fields, but I want to hear from you, Joe.
02:04Another one where it's really close.
02:06Geno in that first game ran amok, right?
02:08But it was over Denver.
02:09Denver, a team that gives up rushing yards like it's candy at Halloween.
02:14Against New England, certainly looked really good, 33 completions through 327 yards.
02:20Only one touchdown this one.
02:22I like Geno at home against Miami.
02:25I keep waiting for Fields to have the big breakout game here.
02:28I feel like this one's going to really just get pulled down into the mud, and between
02:33Harbaugh and Mike Tomlin, this sort of game has the opportunity to be a real 13-10 kind
02:38of banger, and I think that limitation in the scoring is at the end of the day, it's
02:42going to hurt Fields potentially.
02:44I do think that Fields should continue to play regardless of Russell Wilson's health
02:48because you're winning football games.
02:50He gives you more opportunity to make plays.
02:52I think he's going to take less sacks because he's more mobile at the end of the day.
02:56So although you saw, you know, I think things that you liked out of Fields, there was a
03:00couple plays that got called back last week, too, again on him that could have been some
03:04bigger plays.
03:05We might feel better about Fields statistically.
03:07I would still lean Geno at home against the Dolphins because that defense isn't very good
03:11either.
03:12So give me what I know here.
03:14I hope that I'm wrong about the field situation in terms of the score and this total today,
03:20but Vegas is telling you they're not looking for a big total.
03:23Herbert's not 100%.
03:25I can see a lot of run in the football, both of these teams here, and Fields will run as
03:29well.
03:30But unless Fields has that one big breaking run, I think Geno's the smarter start here
03:35for week three.
