00:00We start in Houston. The Astros host the Mariners. Minus 132.
00:09Houston, the slight home favorite against Seattle. Total,
00:13seven and a half. If Houston wins tonight, they clinch. They
00:17have a five-game lead in the American League West over
00:20Seattle but the M's not out of it necessarily despite the
00:24divisional standings. They're only two games back of those
00:28struggling teams in the American League wildcard chase
00:30as well. Yeah, they can win this game tonight. No doubt
00:33about it. Now, there's only eight total pitchers on the
00:35card and if you go back and take a look at those twenty
00:37minimum innings here, guess who's number one and number
00:40two on the card? It's Hunter Brown and it's Bryce Miller.
00:42Both the pitchers in this ballgame in a playoff
00:45atmosphere. Understandably, wouldn't you like the under
00:47just a little bit more if it wasn't Seattle, not Houston but
00:49still nonetheless, I don't see too many base hits in this
00:52baseball game and also, when we talk about kitchen sink
00:55games, Ben, there is no tomorrow for the Seattle
00:58Mariners which means they're not going to look at a game
01:00like, hey, we just threw two relievers over the weekend. We
01:02want to give them the day off. There is no more of that. They
01:04have to win every single game here on out if they want to
01:07make the playoffs but as you said, they're not going to win
01:09the division but is there a legitimate chance that they can
01:11make the playoffs as a wildcard? They win tonight. You
01:14get that half game from some teams that aren't even playing
01:17tonight and away you go into this final week. Must win game.
01:20Coin flip on the mound. Give me the under seven and a half. I
01:23don't think we get eight runs tonight. Two good pitchers on
01:25the mound.
