00:00And here is your latest update on the realignment as the world turns out on the West Coast.
00:10Utah State is going to join the Pac-12, so they're going to leave the Mountain West.
00:15Air Force has said they are going to stay in the Mountain West.
00:18There was a report last night that UNLV also was going to stay in the Mountain West, but
00:22apparently, Scotty, they are now still exploring their options in terms of leaving and joining
00:28the Pac-12.
00:29So you need like a pie chart or one of those graphs to try to figure this all out.
00:35But one way or the other, the Pac-12 is trying to get themselves eight football schools.
00:38Well, you know, Utah State gets in.
00:41I was a little surprised, to be honest with you, about that move.
00:46And I don't know what UNLV is thinking.
00:49I mean, if you have an opportunity to get bigger and if they were awarded an invite,
00:57they should take it.
00:59I know there's been talk of them staying where they are and trying to dominate that conference.
01:05At the end of the day, I don't think that conference is going to matter when they have
01:09the exodus, when all these teams leave to go to the Pac-12.
01:14Any way you slice it, I still think the name of the Pac-12 carries more weight than playing
01:20in the Mountain West.
01:21I know a lot of people don't agree with that, and they think that the Pac-12 was ruined
01:27and destroyed and obliterated.
01:29But they're trying to bring it back from the dead.
01:32And obviously, these teams aren't as good as the ones that they used to have.
01:36I'll never understand what happened to the Pac-12.
01:40I mean, Big Red is turning in his grave.
01:45The Conference of Champions, suffering.
01:47Conference of Champions, unbelievable.
01:49And now the lawyers are involved, too, at Pac-12 suing the Mountain West, saying over
01:53fees that they don't have to pay.
01:55It's going to be a big mess, legal-wise, as well.
