00:00It will start on Thursday night back at MetLife.
00:06We were at MetLife last Thursday night to start week three for the Jets and the Patriots.
00:10Well, MetLife will again have a Thursday night game, this time with the Giants and the Cowboys
00:16getting together.
00:17And the Giants are coming off their first win of the season in Cleveland.
00:21Dallas losing two in a row at home, not looking good in either.
00:25I told you yesterday, like, you know, Dable was talking up Daniel Jones.
00:29There's only one reason Daniel Jones has been better this year and has started throwing
00:33touchdown passes.
00:34It's because of Malik Nabors and here's Dable talking up Nabors instead of Jones.
00:39I have a lot of confidence in him, so, you know, I think we target him a fair amount.
00:46But I think he's earned that, you know, he's earned the right to have those opportunities.
00:50And look, one game it might, I don't know what he's had, 30 the past two weeks, I think,
00:54but, you know, there'll be adjustments throughout a game where things are happening and, you
01:01know, everybody's going to have to be dialed in.
01:02But he's, his mindset, he's a competitive young man that, he's just a football player.
01:10Just give him the ball.
01:11He's their only player.
01:13He's the stud of the team, throw him the ball.
01:16Good things happen.
01:17He catches tutties and he's making Jones look good again and he's shown those flashes that
01:22he can do it if he has the right talent around him, this guy can make plays and they've looked
01:28a lot better.
01:29Even when they lost, they had three tutties, then they win with three tutties.
01:34You start scoring touchdowns, you win games and he's the reason they're winning.
01:38They finally got one at least and, you know, you get that off your back and anything's
01:42possible.
01:43This game is huge because I think most people think that the Cowboys are better than they
01:48are.
01:49I'm not so sure.
01:50The Cowboys seem overrated.
01:53I mean, they keep losing too.
01:54So it's not like, you know, you saw what happened to them.
01:58You know, they got blown out in one game at home and they haven't done that in, you know,
02:03ages in regular season games, playoff games, they got blown out, but you're seeing, you
02:08know, teams like this Dallas team overrated.
02:14And I think the Giants are kind of on par with them to be honest.
02:17I think they're in the same boat.
02:19Both of them are the same.
02:21Both of them are the same so far.
02:23Now look, last year, the Cowboys kind of, you know, they played bully with the Giants
02:27last year.
02:28They beat them, of course, 40 to nothing in the opening week game.
02:31They beat them 49-17 the second time that they played them last year.
02:36So they scored 89 points on them in two games.
02:40Giants obviously have to find a way to stop the Cowboy offense, which they have not been
02:44able to do the last couple of years.
02:46I did hear Jerry this morning.
02:48You know how Jerry is because he never can stay away from anyone.
02:50He does that local radio spot on Tuesday morning, Scottie.
02:55He said it's fair for the Cowboy fans to blame him for the team's shortcomings.
03:01Well, I hope so because you're not just the owner.
03:04You're the general manager too.
03:06Remember that?
03:07Like he's the GM too.
03:08So yes, he is to blame for some of those shortcomings.
03:12He's the only one that matters.
03:13He's the only one that talks.
03:15He's the only one that does press conferences.
03:17I guess you see Dak a little bit, but it's Jerry's world and that's why they call it
03:22Jerry's world.
03:23And the bottom line is they stink.
03:26They're no better than the Giants and they blame him anyway because he's front and center.
03:31No one else talks.
03:33No one else talks.
03:34Five and a half is where we're sitting right now for Thursday night football at MetLife.
03:40Forty-five and a half is the total.
03:44I got to tell you, I think it sounds like you're leaning this way too.
03:48I think the Giants at home on a short week.
03:51I know the Cowboys, they haven't been able to stop in the last couple of years.
03:55I think they might hang around in this game, Scottie.
03:57I think the Giants might make this a game on Thursday.
03:59Why are they favored by that much?
04:01Explain that to me the way they've looked.
04:04I think because this comes down to you take the rosters and Dallas is so much better and
04:10they have the better quarterback and they have, they crushed them both games last year.
04:14I think that, you know, you put all those ingredients in the pot and that's why they're
04:19five and a half point favorites.
04:21But they didn't see neighbors last year.
04:25They got to find a way to, they can get a couple stops.
04:28That's what'll keep them in this game because they couldn't stop them last year.
