00:00Police have released footage of a raid in St Anne's in which a 47-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested after £40,000 worth of cocaine was seized.
00:09The pair were arrested after the filed Royal Task Force executed a warrant at Property and Church Road on Tuesday.
00:16Officers found two safes inside the address.
00:19Inside one safe was half a kilogram of cocaine with an estimated street value of £40,000.
00:25The other safe contained multiple mobile phones and over £6,000 in cash.
00:30Two cars, jewellery and clothing were also seized.
00:34The pair were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
00:38Wayne Jones, 47, of Kirkdale Avenue in St Anne's, has since been charged and remanded to prison until his next appearance in court on October 23rd.
00:48He is charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
00:54The 30-year-old woman has been bailed.
